Romanos 10
1 Hermanos, ciertamente el anhelo de mi corazón y mi súplica a Dios por ellos es para que sean salvos.
Brethren, my heart’s desire and my supplication to God is for them, that they may be saved.
2 Porque testifico que tienen celo de Dios, pero no según conocimiento.
For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.
3 Pues ignoran la justicia de Dios y establecen la suya. Así no se sometieron a la justicia divina.
For being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.
4 Porque [la] finalidad de [la] Ley es Cristo, para que sea justificado todo el que cree.
For Christ is the end of the law unto righteousness to every one that believeth.
5 Porque Moisés escribe: El hombre que practica la justicia según la Ley, vivirá por ella.
For Moses writeth that the man that doeth the righteousness which is of the law shall live thereby.
6 Pero la justicia según [la ]fe dice: No digas en tu corazón: ¿Quién subirá al cielo? Es decir, para bajar a Cristo.
But the righteousness which is of faith saith thus, Say not in thy heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down: )
or, Who shall descend into the abyss? (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.) (Abyssos g12)
8 Pero ¿qué dice [la justicia según la fe]? La Palabra está cerca de ti, en tu boca y en tu corazón. Esta es la Palabra de fe que proclamamos:
But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach:
9 Que si confiesas con la boca al Señor Jesús y crees en tu corazón que Dios lo resucitó de entre [los] muertos, serás salvo.
because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus [as] Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved:
10 Pues con [el] corazón se cree para justicia y con [la] boca se declara para salvación.
for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 La Escritura dice: Todo aquel que crea en Él no será defraudado.
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be put to shame.
12 Porque no hay diferencia entre judío y griego, pues el mismo Señor de todos es rico para todos los que lo invocan.
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek: for the same [Lord] is Lord of all, and is rich unto all that call upon him:
13 Todo el que invoque el Nombre del Señor será salvo.
for, Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14 ¿Cómo, pues, invocarán a Aquél en Quien no creyeron? ¿Cómo creerán en Aquel de Quien no oyeron? ¿Cómo oirán si no hay quien les predique?
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15 ¿Cómo predicarán si no son enviados? Como está escrito: ¡Cuán hermosos son los pies de los que proclaman Buenas Noticias!
and how shall they preach, except they be sent? even as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that bring glad tidings of good things!
16 Pero no todos obedecieron las Buenas Noticias, porque Isaías dice: Señor, ¿quién creyó a nuestro anuncio?
But they did not all hearken to the glad tidings. For Isaiah saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17 Así que la fe es por [la] predicación, y la predicación, por medio de [la] Palabra de Cristo.
So belief [cometh] of hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
18 Pero pregunto: ¿No oyeron? Al contrario: La voz de ellos salió por toda la tierra Y sus palabras hasta los confines de la tierra habitada.
But I say, Did they not hear? Yea, verily, Their sound went out into all the earth, And their words unto the ends of the world.
19 Pregunto: ¿Israel no supo? Primero Moisés dice: Yo los provocaré a envidia con un pueblo que no es pueblo. Los provocaré a ira con un pueblo insensato.
But I say, Did Israel not know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy with that which is no nation, With a nation void of understanding will I anger you.
20 Isaías se atreve a decir: Fui hallado por los que no me buscan. Me manifesté a los que no preguntan por Mí.
And Isaiah is very bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I became manifest unto them that asked not of me.
21 Pero acerca de Israel dice: Todo el día extendí mis manos a un pueblo desobediente y contradictor.
But as to Israel he saith, All the day long did I spread out my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.
