Apocalipsis 16
1 Escuché una gran voz del Santuario que decía a los siete ángeles: ¡Vayan! ¡Derramen las siete copas del furor de Dios sobre la tierra!
And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God on the earth.
2 Salió el primero y derramó su copa en la tierra. Se produjo una úlcera maligna y pestilente sobre los hombres que tenían la marca de la bestia y que adoraban su imagen.
And the first went, and poured out his vial on the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore on the men which had the mark of the beast, and on them which worshipped his image.
3 El segundo [ángel] derramó su copa sobre el mar, el cual se convirtió en sangre como de muerto. Murió todo ser marítimo viviente.
And the second angel poured out his vial on the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
4 El tercero derramó su copa en los ríos y las fuentes de agua, los cuales se convirtieron en sangre.
And the third angel poured out his vial on the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
5 Escuché al ángel de las aguas que decía: ¡Justo eres, el que es y que era, el Santo, porque juzgaste estas cosas!
And I heard the angel of the waters say, You are righteous, O Lord, which are, and were, and shall be, because you have judged thus.
6 También les diste a beber [sangre, ]porque derramaron sangre de santos y profetas. ¡Son merecedores!
For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
7 Escuché al altar que decía: ¡Sí, Señor Dios Todopoderoso, verdaderos y justos son tus juicios!
And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are your judgments.
8 El cuarto [ángel ]derramó su copa sobre el sol, y se le permitió quemar a los hombres con fuego.
And the fourth angel poured out his vial on the sun; and power was given to him to scorch men with fire.
9 Los hombres fueron quemados con un gran calor ardiente. Blasfemaron el Nombre del Dios que tiene el poder sobre estas plagas y no cambiaron de mente para darle gloria.
And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which has power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
10 El quinto [ángel ]derramó su copa sobre el trono de la bestia, y su reino oscureció. Mordían sus lenguas a causa del dolor.
And the fifth angel poured out his vial on the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 Blasfemaron al Dios del cielo a causa de sus dolores y sus úlceras. No cambiaron de mente con respecto a sus obras.
And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
12 El sexto [ángel ]derramó su copa sobre el gran río Éufrates, y su agua se secó para que se preparara el camino de los reyes del oriente.
And the sixth angel poured out his vial on the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
13 Vi [salir] tres espíritus impuros como ranas de la boca del dragón, de la boca de la bestia y de la boca del falso profeta.
And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 Son espíritus de demonios que hacen milagros, los cuales van a los reyes de toda [la] tierra habitada, a fin de reunirlos para la batalla del gran día del Dios Todopoderoso.
For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 (Ciertamente vengo como ladrón. Inmensamente feliz el que vela y protege sus ropas, para que no ande desnudo y vean su vergüenza.)
Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
16 Los reunió en el lugar llamado en hebreo Armagedón.
And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
17 El séptimo [ángel ]derramó su copa en el aire, y salió una gran voz del Santuario, desde el trono, que decía: ¡Está hecho!
And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
18 Hubo rayos, voces y truenos. Hubo un gran sismo, tan grande que no sucedió un sismo como éste desde que existió el hombre sobre la tierra.
And there were voices, and thunders, and lightning; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were on the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
19 La gran ciudad se dividió en tres partes. Las ciudades de las naciones cayeron. La gran Babilonia fue recordada delante de Dios para darle la copa del vino del ardor de su ira.
And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
20 Huyó toda isla, y [las] montañas no fueron halladas.
And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
21 Un enorme granizo cayó del cielo sobre los hombres, como de entre 26 y 36 kilogramos. Y los hombres blasfemaron contra Dios por la plaga del granizo, porque esta plaga era extremadamente grande.
And there fell on men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
