Salmos 97
1 ¡Yavé reina! ¡Regocíjese la tierra! ¡Alégrese la multitud de islas!
Adonai reigns! Let the earth rejoice! Let the multitude of islands be glad!
2 Nubes y densa oscuridad lo rodean. Justicia y equidad son el fundamento de su trono.
Clouds and darkness are around him. Righteousness and mishpat ·justice· are the foundation of his throne.
3 Fuego avanza delante de Él Que quema alrededor a sus adversarios.
A fire goes before him, and burns up his adversaries on every side.
4 Sus relámpagos iluminan el orbe. La tierra mira y se estremece.
His lightning lights up the world. The earth sees, and trembles.

The mountains melt like wax at the presence of Adonai, at the presence of 'Adon [Lord] of the whole earth.
6 Los cielos declaran su justicia, Y todos los pueblos ven su gloria.
The heavens declare his righteousness. All the peoples have seen his kavod ·weighty glory·.

Let all them be shamed who abad ·serve· engraved images, who boast in their idols. Hawa ·Bow low, prostrate· to worship him, all you angels!

Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking] sh'ma ·heard obeyed· and was glad. The daughters of Judah [Praised] rejoiced, because of your judgments, Adonai.
9 Porque Tú, oh Yavé, eres ʼElyón sobre toda la tierra. Tú eres exaltado por encima de todos los ʼelohim.
For you, Adonai, are most high above all the earth. You are exalted far above all deities.
10 Aborrezcan el mal ustedes los que aman a Yavé, Quien preserva las almas de sus santos. ʼEL los libra de la mano de los perversos.
You who 'ahav ·affectionately love· Adonai, hate evil. He preserves the souls of his saints. He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.
11 Luz hay sembrada para el justo, Y alegría para los rectos de corazón.
Light is sown for the upright, and gladness for the upright in heart.
12 Alégrense ustedes, los justos, en Yavé, Y den gracias a la memoria de su santo Nombre.
Be glad in Adonai, you upright people! Yadah ·Extend hands in thankful praise· to his holy Name.
