Salmos 92
1 Bueno es alabar a Yavé Y cantar salmos a tu Nombre, oh ʼElyón.
It is a good thing to give thanks to Jehovah, and to sing praises to thy name, O Most High,
2 Anunciar por la mañana tu misericordia Y tu fidelidad cada noche
to show forth thy loving kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,
3 Con el decacordio y el salterio, Con el armonioso tono del arpa.
with an instrument of ten strings, and with the psaltery, with a solemn sound upon the harp.
4 Porque Tú, oh Yavé, me alegraste con lo que hiciste. Por las obras de tus manos doy gritos de júbilo.
For thou, Jehovah, have made me glad through thy work. I will triumph in the works of thy hands.
5 ¡Cuán grandes son tus obras, oh Yavé! Tus pensamientos son muy profundos.
How great are thy works, O Jehovah! Thy thoughts are very deep.
6 El hombre necio no sabe Y el insensato no entiende esto:
A brutish man knows not, nor does a fool understand this.
7 Que cuando los perversos brotan como hierba, Y florecen todos los que hacen iniquidad, [Solo sucede] para que sean destruidos eternamente.
When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity flourish, it is that they shall be destroyed forever,
8 Pero Tú, oh Yavé, eres altísimo para siempre.
but thou, O Jehovah, are on high for evermore.
9 Porque ya veo que tus enemigos, oh Yavé, Ya veo que tus enemigos perecen. Son dispersados todos los obradores de iniquidad.
For, lo, thine enemies, O Jehovah, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish. All the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
10 Pero Tú aumentarás mi fuerza como la del búfalo. Seré ungido con aceite fresco.
But thou have exalted my horn like the wild ox's. I am anointed with fresh oil,
11 Y mis ojos mirarán por encima de mis enemigos. Mis oídos escucharán Con respecto a los perversos que se levantan contra mí.
and my eye has seen my enemies. My ears have heard of the evildoers who rise up against me.
12 El justo florecerá como la palmera. Crecerá como un cedro en el Líbano.
A righteous man shall flourish like the palm tree. He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13 Plantados en la Casa de Yavé, Florecerán en los patios de nuestro ʼElohim.
Men who are planted in the house of Jehovah shall flourish in the courts of our God.
14 Aun en la vejez darán fruto. Estarán llenos de savia y muy verdes
They shall still bring forth fruit in old age. They shall be full of sap and green
15 Para manifestar que Yavé es recto. Mi Roca es. En Él no hay injusticia.
to show that Jehovah is upright. He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
