Salmos 77

1 Mi voz se levanta a ʼElohim y clamaré. Mi voz se levanta a ʼElohim, Y Él me oirá.

For the end, for Idithun, a Psalm of Asaph. I cried to the Lord with my voice, yea, my voice [was addressed] to God; and he gave heed to me.

2 En el día de mi angustia busqué a ʼAdonay. A Él levanté mi mano de noche sin descanso. Mi alma rehusaba ser consolada.

In the day of mine affliction I earnestly sought the Lord; [even] with my hands by night before him, and I was not deceived; my soul refused to be comforted.

3 Me acuerdo de ʼElohim y me conmuevo. Me lamento y mi espíritu desmaya. (Selah)

I remembered God, and rejoiced; I poured out my complaint, and my soul fainted. (Pause)

4 Mantienes mis párpados abiertos. Estoy turbado y no puedo hablar.

All mine enemies set a watch [against me]: I was troubled, and spoke not.

5 Consideré los días de antaño, Los años de tiempos pasados.

I considered the days of old, and remembered ancient years.

6 Recuerdo mi canto en la noche. Medito en mi corazón, Y mi espíritu escudriña:

And I meditated; I communed with my heart by night, and diligently searched my spirit, [saying],

7 ¿Desechará ʼAdonay para siempre, Y no volverá a ser favorable?

Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be well pleased no more?

8 ¿Cesó por completo su misericordia? ¿Se extinguió para siempre su promesa?

Will he cut off his mercy for ever, even for ever and ever?

9 ¿Olvidó ʼEL ser bondadoso? ¿En su ira retiró su compasión? (Selah)

Will God forget to pity? or will he shut up his compassions in his wrath? (Pause)

10 Entonces dije: Es mi enfermedad: Que la mano derecha de ʼElyón cambió.

And I said, Now I have begun; this is the change of the right hand of the Most High.

11 Me acordaré de las obras de YA, ¡Sí! Recordaré tus maravillas de antaño.

I remembered the works of the Lord; for I will remember thy wonders from the beginning.

12 Meditaré en toda tu obra, Y hablaré sobre tus proezas.

And I will meditate on all thy works, and will consider thy doings.

13 ¡Oh ʼElohim, santo es tu camino! ¿Cuál ʼelohim es tan grande como nuestro ʼElohim?

O God, thy way is in the sanctuary; who is a great God as our God?

14 Tú eres el ʼElohim que obra maravillas. Hiciste notorio entre los pueblos tu poder.

Thou art the God that doest wonders; thou hast made known thy power among the nations.

15 Con tu poder redimiste a tu pueblo, A los hijos de Jacob y de José. (Selah)

Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Pause)

16 Te vieron las aguas, oh ʼElohim. Las aguas te vieron y se angustiaron. Los abismos también se estremecieron.

The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee, and feared; and the depths were troubled.

17 Espesas nubes derramaron agua. Los nubarrones tronaron. También tus flechas centellaron.

[There was] an abundant sound of waters: the clouds uttered a voice; for thine arrows went abroad.

18 El ruido de tu trueno estaba en el remolino de viento. Los relámpagos iluminaron el mundo. Tembló y se estremeció la tierra.

The voice of thy thunder was abroad, and around thy lightnings appeared to the world; the earth trembled a quaked.

19 Abriste tu camino en el mar Y tus senderos en las aguas caudalosas, Para que tus pisadas no fueran conocidas.

Thy way is in the sea, and thy paths in many waters, and thy footsteps cannot be known.

20 Como un rebaño guiaste a tu pueblo Por medio de Moisés y Aarón.

Thou didst guide thy people as sheep by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
