Salmos 75

1 Gracias te damos, oh ʼElohim, te damos gracias, Porque tu Nombre está cerca. Los hombres declaran tus maravillosas obras.

To the chief Musician. 'Destroy not.' A Psalm of Asaph: a Song. Unto thee we give thanks, O God, we give thanks; and thy name is near: thy marvellous works declare it.

2 Cuando Yo selecciono un tiempo determinado, Soy Yo Quien juzga con equidad.

When I shall receive the assembly, I will judge with equity.

3 Cuando se disuelva la tierra y todos los que viven en ella, Yo mismo sostendré sus columnas. (Selah)

The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I have established its pillars. (Selah)

4 Dije a los jactanciosos: No se jacten. Y a los perversos: No alcen su cuerno,

I said unto the boastful, Boast not; and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

5 Ni levanten su cuerno en alto, Ni hablen con orgullo insolente.

Lift not up your horn on high; speak not arrogantly with a [stiff] neck.

6 Porque ni del oriente ni del occidente, Ni del desierto viene la exaltación,

For not from the east nor from the west, nor yet from the south doth exaltation [come]:

7 Sino ʼElohim es el Juez. A éste humilla y a aquél enaltece.

For God is the judge; he putteth down one and exalteth another.

8 Hay una copa en la mano de Yavé, Y el vino fermenta. Está bien mezclado y lo derramará. Y tendrá que ser sorbido hasta sus sedimentos. ¡Ciertamente todos los perversos de la tierra lo beberán!

For in the hand of Jehovah there is a cup, and it foameth with wine, it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same; yea, the dregs thereof shall all the wicked of the earth drain off, [and] drink.

9 Pero yo lo declararé para siempre. Cantaré salmos al ʼElohim de Jacob.

But as for me, I will declare for ever; I will sing psalms to the God of Jacob.

10 Él quebrará el cuerno de los perversos, Pero el cuerno de los justos será exaltado.

And all the horns of the wicked will I cut off; [but] the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
