Salmos 54

1 Oh ʼElohim, sálvame por tu Nombre, Y defiéndeme con tu poder.

For the choirmaster. With stringed instruments. A Maskil of David. When the Ziphites went to Saul and said, “Is David not hiding among us?” Save me, O God, by Your name, and vindicate me by Your might!

2 Oh ʼElohim, escucha mi oración. Escucha las palabras de mi boca.

Hear my prayer, O God; listen to the words of my mouth.

3 Porque extraños se levantaron contra mí, Y hombres violentos buscan mi vida. No colocaron a ʼElohim delante de ellos. (Selah)

For strangers rise up against me, and ruthless men seek my life— men with no regard for God.

4 Ciertamente ʼElohim es el que me ayuda. ʼAdonay es Quien sostiene mi vida.

Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the sustainer of my soul.

5 Él hace volver el mal contra mis enemigos. Por tu fidelidad, destrúyelos.

He will reward my enemies with evil. In Your faithfulness, destroy them.

6 Voluntariamente te ofreceré sacrificio. Oh Yavé, daré gracias a tu Nombre Porque es bueno,

Freely I will sacrifice to You; I will praise Your name, O LORD, for it is good.

7 Porque me libraste de toda angustia Y mis ojos vieron la ruina de mis enemigos.

For He has delivered me from every trouble, and my eyes have stared down my foes.
