Salmos 47

1 ¡Pueblos todos, aplaudan! ¡Aclamen a ʼElohim con voz de júbilo!

“For the leader of the music. A psalm of the sons of Korah.” O clap your hands, all ye nations! Shout unto God with the voice of triumph!

2 Porque Yavé el ʼElyón es temible, Rey grande sobre toda la tierra.

For terrible is Jehovah, the Most High, The great king over all the earth.

3 Él somete los pueblos a nosotros, Las naciones bajo nuestros pies.

He hath subdued nations under us, And kingdoms under our feet;

4 Él nos eligió nuestra herencia, El Esplendor de Jacob, a quien amó. (Selah)

He hath chosen for us an inheritance, The glory of Jacob, whom he loved. (Pause)

5 ʼElohim asciende con aclamación de júbilo, Yavé con sonido de trompeta.

God goeth up with a shout; Jehovah with the sound of the trumpet.

6 ¡Canten a ʼElohim, canten! ¡Canten a nuestro Rey, canten!

Sing praises to God, sing praises! Sing praises to our king, sing praises!

7 Porque ʼElohim es el Rey de toda la tierra. ¡Canten con entendimiento!

For God is king of all the earth; Sing to him hymns of praise!

8 ¡ʼElohim reina sobre las naciones! ¡ʼElohim se sienta en su santo trono!

God reigneth over the nations; God sitteth upon his holy throne.

9 Los jefes de las naciones se reúnen como pueblo del ʼElohim de Abraham, Porque de ʼElohim son los escudos de la tierra, Él es sumamente exaltado.

The princes of the nations gather themselves together To the people of the God of Abraham; For the mighty of the earth belong to God; He is supremely exalted.
