Salmos 45

1 Rebosa mi corazón palabra buena. Dirijo al Rey mi canto. Mi boca es como pluma de experto escriba.

MY heart is inditing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.

2 Eres el más hermoso de los hijos de los hombres. La gracia se derramó en tus labios. Por tanto, ʼElohim te bendijo para siempre.

Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.

3 ¡Átate tu espada a tu cintura, oh Guerrero, Con tu esplendor y con tu majestad!

Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, with thy glory and thy majesty.

4 Cabalga en tu majestad Y triunfa por la causa de la verdad, la humildad y la justicia. Que tu mano derecha te enseñe cosas asombrosas.

And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.

5 Tus flechas son agudas. Pueblos caen debajo de Ti. Tus flechas agudas penetrarán en el corazón de los enemigos del Rey.

Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king’s enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.

6 Tu trono, oh ʼElohim, es eterno y para siempre. Cetro de justicia es el cetro de tu reino.

Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.

7 Amaste la justicia y aborreciste la perversidad, Por tanto, te ungió ʼElohim, el ʼElohim tuyo, Con aceite de alegría más que a tus compañeros.

Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

8 Mirra, áloe y casia exhalan todas tus ropas. Desde los palacios de marfil te recrean instrumentos de cuerda.

All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.

9 Hijas de reyes están entre tus honorables damas. A su mano derecha está la reina con oro de Ofir.

Kings’ daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.

10 Escucha, hija, atiende, e inclina tu oído. Olvida tu pueblo y la casa de tu padre.

Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house;

11 Deseará el Rey tu hermosura. E inclínate ante Él, porque Él es tu ʼAdonay.

So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is thy Lord; and worship thou him.

12 La hija de Tiro vendrá con un presente. Los ricos entre los pueblos buscarán tu favor.

And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall intreat thy favour.

13 Toda gloriosa es la princesa en su palacio. Entretejida de oro es su ropa.

The king’s daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.

14 Con ropas bordadas será llevada ante el Rey. Con compañeras vírgenes que irán tras ella Será llevada a Ti.

She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.

15 Serán llevadas con alegría y regocijo. Entrarán en el palacio del Rey.

With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king’s palace.

16 En lugar de tus padres estarán tus hijos, A quienes harás príncipes en toda la tierra.

Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.

17 Haré perpetua la memoria de tu nombre en todas las generaciones, Por lo cual los pueblos te darán gracias eternamente y para siempre.

I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.
