Salmos 43

1 Júzgame, oh ʼElohim, y defiende mi causa. Líbrame de gente impía, del hombre engañador y perverso.

God, please vindicate me! Plead my case against an unfaithful nation; save me from these wicked and dishonest people.

2 Porque Tú eres el ʼElohim de mi fortaleza. ¿Por qué me desechaste? ¿Por qué ando enlutado a causa de la opresión del enemigo?

For you, God, are my protection—so why have you turned your back on me? Why must I go around weeping because of the attacks of my enemies?

3 Envía tu luz y tu verdad. Éstas me guiarán. Ellas me conducirán a tu Montaña Santa y a tus moradas.

Send your light and your truth so they can guide me; let them lead me to your holy mountain, to the place where you live.

4 Entonces iré al altar de ʼElohim, Al ʼEL de mi alegría y regocijo, Y te alabaré con el arpa, oh ʼElohim, mi ʼElohim.

I will go to God's altar, to God who makes me truly happy. I will praise you on the harp, God, my God.

5 ¿Por qué te abates, oh alma mía, Y por qué te turbas dentro de mí? Espera a ʼElohim, porque aún lo alabaré. ¡El Ayudador de mi presencia y mi ʼElohim!

Why am I so discouraged? Why do I feel so sad? I will hope in God; I will praise him because he is the one who saves me—my God!
