Salmos 41

1 ¡Oh cuán bendecido es el que piensa en el pobre! En el día malo Yavé lo librará.

2 Yavé lo protegerá y le dará vida. Será bendito en la tierra, Y no lo entregarás a la voluntad de sus enemigos.

3 Yavé lo sustentará en el lecho de dolor. En su enfermedad suavizarás su cama.

4 Dije yo: Oh Yavé, ten compasión de mí. Sana mi alma, porque pequé contra Ti.

5 Mis enemigos hablan mal de mí y preguntan: ¿Cuándo morirá y perecerá su nombre?

Enemies my they speak evil of me when? will he die and will it perish? name his.

6 Cuando viene a verme, habla falsedad. Su corazón recoge perversidades. Cuando sale las divulga.

And if someone came to see - falsehood it speaks heart his it gathers wickedness for itself he goes out to the outside he speaks.

7 Todos los que me aborrecen murmuran reunidos contra mí. Maquinan la perversidad contra mí y dicen:

Together on me they whisper to one another all [those who] hate me on me - they plot trouble for me.

8 Algo perverso fue derramado sobre él. Cuando caiga en cama, no volverá a levantarse.

9 Aun el hombre de mi paz en quien yo confiaba, Que comía de mi pan, Levantó contra mí su talón.

10 Pero Tú, oh Yavé, ten compasión de mí. Levántame para que le dé recompensa.

And you O Yahweh show favor to me and raise up me so let me repay to them.

11 En esto sé que te complaces en mí: En que mi enemigo no proclame triunfo sobre mí.

12 En cuanto a mí, en mi integridad me sostienes, Y me establecerás en tu Presencia para siempre.

And I in integrity my you have supported me and you have set me before you for ever.

13 ¡Bendito sea Yavé el ʼElohim de Israel, Desde la eternidad y hasta la eternidad! ¡Amén y amén!
