Salmos 29

1 ¡Tributen a Yavé, oh hijos de los poderosos! ¡Tributen a Yavé la gloria y el poder!

“A psalm of David.” Ascribe unto the Lord, O ye sons of the mighty, ascribe unto the Lord glory and strength.

2 ¡Tributen a Yavé la gloria debida a su Nombre! ¡Póstrense ante Yavé en el esplendor de la santidad!

Ascribe unto the Lord the glory of his name; bow down to the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

3 Voz de Yavé sobre las aguas: ¡El ʼElohim de gloria truena! ¡Yavé está sobre muchas aguas!

The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of glory thundereth, the Lord—upon mighty waters.

4 Voz de Yavé es poderosa, Voz de Yavé es majestuosa.

The voice of the Lord [resoundeth] with power; the voice of the Lord [resoundeth] with majesty.

5 Voz de Yavé que quiebra los cedros, Yavé destroza los cedros del Líbano.

The voice of the Lord breaketh in pieces the cedars; yea, the Lord shivereth the cedars of Lebanon;

6 Él hace saltar al Líbano como un becerro.

And he maketh them skip like a calf; Lebanon and Siryon like young reems.

7 Voz de Yavé que enciende llamaradas.

The voice of the Lord heweth out flames of fire.

8 Voz de Yavé que estremece el desierto. Yavé sacude al desierto de Cades.

The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

9 Voz de Yavé que estremece los robles y desnuda los bosques. En su Templo todos proclaman su gloria.

The voice of the Lord causeth the hinds to start, and maketh bare forests: and in his temple every thing speaketh [of his] glory.

10 Yavé preside en el diluvio. Yavé se sienta como Rey para siempre.

The Lord sat [enthroned] at the flood: and the Lord will sit as King for ever.

11 Yavé dará fortaleza a su pueblo. Yavé bendecirá a su pueblo con paz.

The Lord will give strength unto his people: the Lord will bless his people with peace.
