Salmos 25

1 A Ti, oh Yavé, levanto mi alma.

א To you, Adonai, do I lift up my soul.

2 ¡ʼElohim mío, en Ti confío! No sea yo avergonzado, No se alegren de mí mis enemigos.

בּ My God, I have trusted in you. Don’t let me be shamed. Don’t let my enemies triumph over me.

3 Ciertamente ninguno de los que confían en Ti será avergonzado. Serán avergonzados los que se rebelan sin causa.

גּ Yes, no one who waits for you shall be shamed. They shall be shamed who deal treacherously without cause.

4 Muéstrame, oh Yavé, tus caminos, Enséñame tus sendas.

דּ Show me your ways, Adonai. Teach me your paths.

5 Encamíname en tu verdad y enséñame, Porque Tú eres el ʼElohim de mi salvación. En Ti espero todo el día.

ה Guide me in your truth, and teach me, For you are the God of my yesha' ·salvation·, I wait for you all day long.

6 Acuérdate, oh Yavé, de tu compasión y de tu misericordia que son perpetuas.

ז Adonai, remember your tender rachamim ·merciful loves· and your chesed ·loving-kindness·, for they are from old times.

7 No te acuerdes de los pecados de mi juventud y de mis transgresiones. Conforme a tu misericordia acuérdate de mí, Por tu bondad, oh Yavé.

ח Don’t remember the habitual sins ·missing the marks· of my youth, nor my rebellious breaches of relationships. Remember me according to your chesed ·loving-kindness·, for your goodness’ sake, Adonai.

8 Bueno y justo es Yavé. Él muestra el camino a los pecadores.

ט Good and upright is Adonai, therefore he will instruct people who sin ·intentionally miss the mark goal· in the way.

9 Encamina a los humildes en justicia, Y enseña a los mansos su senda.

י He will guide the humble in mishpat ·justice·. He will teach the humble his way.

10 Todas las sendas de Yavé son misericordia y verdad Para los que observan su Pacto y sus Preceptos.

כּ All the paths of Adonai are chesed ·loving-kindness· and truth to such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

11 Por amor a tu Nombre, oh Yavé, Perdonas también mi iniquidad, que es grande.

ל For your name’s sake, Adonai, pardon my depravity (moral evil), for it is great.

12 ¿Quién es el hombre que teme a Yavé? Él le enseñará el camino que debe escoger.

מ What man is he who fears Adonai? He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose.

13 Su alma gozará de bienestar, Y su descendencia heredará la tierra.

נ His soul shall dwell at ease. His offspring shall inherit the land.

14 El secreto de Yavé es para los que le temen. A ellos hará conocer su Pacto.

ס The friendship of Adonai is with those who fear him. He will show them his covenant.

15 Mis ojos están siempre fijos en Yavé, Porque Él sacará mis pies de la red.

ע My eyes are ever on Adonai, for he will pluck my feet out of the net.

16 Mírame y ten misericordia de mí, Porque estoy solo y afligido.

פ Turn to me, and have mercy on me, for I am desolate and afflicted.

17 Las angustias de mi corazón se aumentaron. ¡Sácame de mis congojas!

צ The troubles of my heart are enlarged. Oh bring me out of my distresses.

18 Mira mi aflicción y mis fatigas, Y perdona todos mis pecados.

ר Consider my affliction and my travail. Forgive all my habitual sins ·missing the marks·.

19 ¡Mira cómo se multiplicaron mis enemigos, Y con violento odio me aborrecen!

ר Consider my enemies, for they are many. They hate me with cruel hatred.

20 ¡Guarda mi alma y líbrame! No sea yo avergonzado, Porque en Ti me refugio.

שׁ Oh keep my soul, and deliver me. Let me not be disappointed, for I take refuge in you.

21 Integridad y rectitud me guarden, Porque en Ti espero.

תּ Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you.

22 ¡Oh ʼElohim, redime a Israel de todas sus angustias!

Redeem Israel [God prevails], God, out all of his troubles.
