Salmos 23

1 Yavé es mi Pastor. Nada me faltará.

“A psalm of David.” The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

2 En lugares de tiernos prados me hace descansar. Junto a aguas de reposo me conduce.

In pastures of tender grass he causeth me to lie down: beside still waters he leadeth me.

3 Restaura mi alma. Me guía por sendas de justicia por amor a su Nombre.

My soul he refresheth: he guideth me in the tracks of righteousness for the sake of his name.

4 Aunque ande por el valle de la sombra de muerte, No temeré algún mal, Porque Tú estás conmigo. Tu vara y tu cayado me confortan.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will not fear evil; for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff—they indeed comfort me.

5 Aderezas mesa delante de mí en presencia de mis adversarios. Unges mi cabeza con aceite. Mi copa rebosa.

Thou preparest before me a table in the presence of my assailants; thou anointest with oil my head: my cup overfloweth.

6 Ciertamente el bien y la misericordia me escoltarán todos los días de mi vida, Y en la Casa de Yavé moraré por largos días.

Surely, only goodness and kindness shall follow me all the days of my life: and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord to the utmost length of days.
