Salmos 20

1 Yavé te responda en el día de la adversidad. El Nombre del ʼElohim de Jacob te defienda,

To victorie, the salm of Dauid. The Lord here thee in the dai of tribulacioun; the name of God of Jacob defende thee.

2 Te envíe ayuda desde el Santuario Y desde Sion te sostenga.

Sende he helpe to thee fro the hooli place; and fro Syon defende he thee.

3 Se acuerde de todas tus ofrendas Y acepte tus holocaustos. (Selah)

Be he myndeful of al thi sacrifice; and thi brent sacrifice be maad fat.

4 Te dé conforme al deseo de tu corazón Y cumpla todos tus propósitos.

Yyue he to thee aftir thin herte; and conferme he al thi counsel.

5 Nosotros nos alegraremos en tu salvación Y levantaremos pendón en el Nombre de nuestro ʼElohim. Yavé te conceda todas tus peticiones.

We schulen be glad in thin helthe; and we schulen be magnyfied in the name of oure God.

6 Ahora sé que Yavé salva a su ungido. Le responderá desde sus santos cielos Con la potencia salvadora de su mano derecha.

The Lord fille alle thin axyngis; nowe Y haue knowe, that the Lord hath maad saaf his crist. He schal here hym fro his hooly heuene; the helthe of his riyt hond is in poweris.

7 Éstos confían en carruajes de guerra, Y aquéllos en caballos, Pero nosotros nos gloriamos del Nombre de Yavé, nuestro ʼElohim.

Thes in charis, and these in horsis; but we schulen inwardli clepe in the name of oure Lord God.

8 Ellos flaquean y caen, Pero nosotros nos levantamos y estamos firmes.

Thei ben boundun, and felden doun; but we han rise, and ben reisid.

9 ¡Salva, oh Yavé! ¡Que el Rey nos responda el día cuando lo invoquemos!

Lord, make thou saaf the kyng; and here thou vs in the dai in which we inwardli clepen thee.
