Salmos 16
1 Guárdame, oh ʼElohim, porque en Ti me refugio.
A michtam of David. Protect me, God, for I take refuge in you.
2 Dije a Yavé: Tú eres mi ʼAdonay. No tengo bien fuera de Ti.
I say to Yahweh, “You are my Lord; my goodness is nothing apart from you.
3 Para los santos y los íntegros que están en la tierra Es toda mi complacencia.
As for the holy people who are on the earth, they are noble people; all my delight is in them.
4 Multiplicarán sus dolores los que sirven a otro ʼelohim. No derramaré sus libaciones de sangre, Ni estarán sus nombres en mis labios.
Their troubles will be increased, those who seek out other gods. I will not pour out drink offerings of blood to their gods or lift up their names with my lips.
5 Yavé es la porción de mi herencia y de mi copa. Tú sustentas firmemente mi parcela.
Yahweh, you are my chosen portion and my cup. You hold onto my lot.
6 Las cuerdas me cayeron en lugares deleitosos Y es hermosa la heredad que me corresponde.
Measuring lines have been laid for me in pleasant places; surely a pleasing inheritance is mine.
7 Bendeciré a Yavé que me aconseja, Aun en las noches me corrige las partes más íntimas de mi personalidad.
I will bless Yahweh, who counsels me; even at night my mind instructs me.
8 A Yavé coloqué continuamente delante de mí. Porque está a mi derecha, no seré movido.
I set Yahweh before me at all times, so I will not be shaken from his right hand!
9 Por lo cual se alegra mi corazón, Y se regocija mi gloria. Mi cuerpo reposará también confiadamente,
Therefore my heart is glad; my glory is rejoicing. Surely I will live in security.
10 Porque no abandonarás mi alma en el Seol, Ni permitirás que tu Santo experimente corrupción. (Sheol h7585)
For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol. You will not let your faithful one see the pit. (Sheol h7585)
11 Me mostrarás la senda de la vida. En tu Presencia hay plenitud de gozo, Delicias a tu mano derecha para siempre.
You teach me the path of life; abundant joy resides in your presence; delights abide in your right hand forever!”
