Salmos 148

1 ¡Aleluya! Alaben a Yavé desde los cielos. Alábenlo en las alturas.

Praise ye Yah, Praise Yahweh, out of the heavens, Praise him, in the heights;

2 Alábenlo, todos sus ángeles. Alábenlo, todas sus huestes.

Praise him, all his messengers, Praise him, all his host;

3 Alábenlo, sol y luna. Alábenlo, todas lucientes estrellas.

Praise him, sun and moon, Praise him, all ye stars of light;

4 Alábenlo, los más altos cielos, Y las aguas que están sobre los cielos.

Praise him, O ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that are above the heavens;

5 Alaben el Nombre de Yavé, Porque Él mandó, Y fueron creados.

Let them praise the Name of Yahweh, for, he, commanded, and they were created;

6 Y los estableció eternamente y para siempre. Él dio un decreto que no pasará.

So caused he them to stand perpetually—age-abidingly, A decree, hath he given, and it passeth not beyond.

7 Alaben a Yavé desde la tierra: Cetáceos y todos los abismos,

Praise Yahweh, out of the earth, sea monsters, and all resounding deeps;

8 El fuego y el granizo, la nieve y el vapor, El viento tempestuoso que ejecuta su Palabra,

Fire and hail, snow and vapour, stormy wind, fulfilling his word;

9 Las montañas y todas las colinas, Árboles frutales y todo cedro,

Ye mountains, and all hills, fruit trees, and all cedars;

10 Los animales salvajes y todo ganado, Reptiles y ave alada,

Thou wild-beast, and all ye cattle, crawling creature, and bird of wing;

11 Reyes de la tierra y todos los pueblos, Magistrados y todos los jueces de la tierra,

Kings of earth, and all peoples, Rulers, and all judges of earth;

12 Tanto jóvenes varones como doncellas, Los ancianos y los niños,

Young men, yea even virgins, elders, and children.

13 Alaben el Nombre de Yavé, Porque solo su Nombre es exaltado. Su gloria está por encima de la tierra y el cielo.

Let them praise the Name of Yahweh, for lofty is his Name alone, His splendour is over earth and heavens.

14 Y Él levantó un poder para su pueblo, Alabanza para todos sus fieles, De los hijos de Israel, un pueblo cercano a Él. ¡Aleluya! ¡Aleluya!

Therefore hath he exalted a horn for his people, a praise for all his men of lovingkindness, for the sons of Israel—a people near him, Praise ye Yah!
