Salmos 147
1 ¡Aleluya! Porque es bueno cantar salmos a nuestro ʼElohim, Porque agradable, hermosa es la alabanza.
Praise ye the LORD: for [it is] good to sing praises to our God; for [it is] pleasant; [and] praise is comely.
2 Yavé edifica a Jerusalén. Él reúne a los desterrados de Israel.
The LORD buildeth up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.
3 Él sana a los quebrantados de corazón Y venda sus heridas.
He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
4 Él cuenta el número de las estrellas. Él da nombres a todas ellas.
He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by [their] names.
5 Grande es nuestro ʼAdonay Y prominente en fortaleza. Su entendimiento es infinito.
Great [is] our LORD, and of great power: his understanding [is] infinite.
6 Yavé sostiene a los afligidos. Él abate a los perversos hasta la tierra.
The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.
7 Canten a Yavé con acción de gracias. Canten salmos a nuestro ʼElohim con el arpa,
Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp to our God:
8 Quien cubre de nubes el cielo, Quien provee lluvia para la tierra, Quien desarrolla la hierba en las montañas.
Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.
9 Él da a la bestia su alimento, A las crías de los cuervos que claman.
He giveth to the beast his food, [and] to the young ravens which cry.
10 No se deleita con la fuerza del caballo, No se complace en las piernas de un hombre.
He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.
11 Yavé favorece a los que le temen, Los que esperan su misericordia.
The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.
12 ¡Alaba a Yavé, oh Jerusalén! ¡Alaba a tu ʼElohim, oh Sion!
Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.
13 Porque Él refuerza los cerrojos de tus puertas, Él bendice a tus hijos dentro de ti.
For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.
14 Él establece paz en tus fronteras, Él te sacia con lo mejor del trigo.
He maketh peace [in] thy borders, [and] filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.
15 Él envía su mandato a la tierra, Su Palabra corre velozmente.
He sendeth forth his commandment [upon] earth: his word runneth very swiftly.
16 Él da nieve como lana, Él esparce la escarcha como ceniza.
He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoar-frost like ashes.
17 Él lanza su nieve como migas. ¿Quién puede resistir su helada?
He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold?
18 Envía su Palabra, Y la derrite, Impulsa su viento para que sople, Y fluyan las aguas.
He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, [and] the waters flow.
19 Él declara sus Palabras a Jacob, Sus Estatutos y Ordenanzas a Israel.
He showeth his word to Jacob, his statutes and his judgments to Israel.
20 No trató así con ninguna nación. Ninguna otra conoció sus ordenanzas. ¡Aleluya! ¡Aleluya!
He hath not dealt so with any nation: and [as for his] judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.
