Salmos 143
1 Oh Yavé, escucha mi oración. Presta oído a mis súplicas. Por tu fidelidad, por tu justicia respóndeme.
[A Psalm by David.] Hear my prayer, Jehovah. Listen to my petitions. In your faithfulness and righteousness, relieve me.
2 No entres a juicio con tu esclavo, Porque ante tu vista ningún hombre que viva es justo.
Do not enter into judgment with your servant, for in your sight no man living is righteous.
3 Porque el enemigo persiguió mi vida. Humilló mi vida hasta el suelo. Me obligó a habitar en tenebrosidad, como los muertos.
For the enemy pursues my soul. He has struck my life down to the ground. He has made me live in dark places, as those who have been long dead.
4 Por tanto, mi espíritu desfallece dentro de mí, Mi corazón está desolado.
Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me. My heart within me is desolate.
5 Recuerdo los días de antaño. Medito en todas tus obras. Reflexiono sobre la obra de tus manos.
I remember the days of old. I meditate on all your doings. I contemplate the work of your hands.
6 A Ti levanto mis manos. Mi alma te [anhela] como una tierra seca. (Selah)
I spread forth my hands to you. My soul thirsts for you, like a parched land. (Selah)
7 Oh Yavé, respóndeme pronto. Mi espíritu desfallece. No escondas de mí tu rostro, O seré como los que bajan a la fosa.
Hurry to answer me, Jehovah. My spirit fails. Do not hide your face from me, so that I do not become like those who go down into the pit.
8 Que yo escuche por la mañana tu misericordia, Porque en Ti confío. Enséñame el camino en el cual debo andar, Porque a Ti levanto mi alma.
Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, for I trust in you. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to you.
9 Oh Yavé, líbrame de mis enemigos. Me refugio en Ti.
Deliver me, Jehovah, from my enemies. I run to you for refuge.
10 Enséñame a hacer tu voluntad, Porque Tú eres mi ʼElohim, Que tu buen Espíritu me guíe por tierra nivelada.
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.
11 Revíveme, oh Yavé, por amor a tu Nombre. Por tu justicia saca mi alma de la aflicción.
Revive me, Jehovah, for your name's sake. In your righteousness, bring my soul out of trouble.
12 Con tu misericordia corta a mis adversarios Y destruye a todos los que afligen mi alma, Porque soy tu esclavo.
In your loving kindness, cut off my enemies, and destroy all those who afflict my soul, For I am your servant.
