Salmos 141
1 ¡Oh Yavé, a Ti clamo, apresúrate hacia mí! Presta oído a mi voz cuando te invoco.
A psalm of David. Lord, I call to you: hasten, to me, attend to my voice, when I call to you.
2 Que mi oración sea contada como incienso delante de Ti, El levantamiento de mis manos como [la] ofrenda de la tarde.
Let my prayer be presented as incense before you, and my uplifted hands as the evening meal-offering.
3 Pon, oh Yavé, un guardia sobre mi boca. Vigila la puerta de mis labios.
Set, O Lord, a watch on my mouth, put a guard on the door of my lips.
4 No inclines mi corazón a alguna cosa perversa, Para que haga obras de perversidad Con hombres que practican iniquidad, Y no me dejes probar sus golosinas.
Incline not my heart to an evil matter, to busy myself in deeds of wickedness, in company with workers of evil: never may I partake of their dainties.
5 Que el justo me castigue con bondad Y me reprenda. No permitas que el aceite del impío embellezca mi cabeza. Porque aun mi oración está contra las obras perversas.
A wound or reproof from a good person in kindness is oil which my head shall never refuse. In their misfortune my prayer is still with them.
6 Sean lanzados sus jueces por las laderas de la peña. Y oigan mis palabras, porque son agradables.
Abandoned they are to the hands of their judges: they shall learn that my words are true.
7 Como cuando uno ara y rompe la tierra, Nuestros huesos fueron esparcidos en la boca del Seol. (Sheol h7585)
Like stones on a country road cleft and broken so lie our bones scattered for Death to devour. (Sheol h7585)
8 Pero mis ojos están hacia Ti, oh Yavé, ʼAdonay. En Ti me refugio. No me dejes indefenso.
But my eyes are turned towards you, O Lord. Do not pour out my life, for in you I take refuge.
9 Guárdame de las trampas que me tendieron Y de las trampas de los que cometen iniquidad.
Keep me safe from the trap they have laid for me, from the snares of the workers of trouble.
10 Que los perversos caigan en sus propias redes Mientras yo paso con seguridad.
Into their own nets let wicked people fall; while I pass by in safety.
