Salmos 139

1 Oh Yavé, Tú me escudriñaste y conociste.

To him that excelleth. A Psalme of David. O Lord, thou hast tried me and knowen me.

2 Tú sabes cuándo me siento Y cuándo me pongo en pie, De lejos entiendes mi pensamiento.

Thou knowest my sitting and my rising: thou vnderstandest my thought afarre off.

3 Vigilas cuando camino Y cuando reposo, Y estás íntimamente familiarizado con todos mis caminos.

Thou compassest my pathes, and my lying downe, and art accustomed to all my wayes.

4 Aun antes que haya una palabra en mi lengua, Ciertamente, oh Yavé, Tú la sabes toda.

For there is not a word in my tongue, but loe, thou knowest it wholy, O Lord.

5 Me rodeaste por detrás y por delante, Y pusiste tu mano sobre mí.

Thou holdest mee straite behinde and before, and layest thine hand vpon me.

6 [Tal] conocimiento es demasiado maravilloso para mí. Alto es, no puedo alcanzarlo.

Thy knowledge is too wonderfull for mee: it is so high that I cannot attaine vnto it.

7 ¿A dónde puedo irme de tu Espíritu? ¿O a dónde puedo huir de tu Presencia?

Whither shall I goe from thy Spirite? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

8 Si subo al cielo, allí estás Tú, Y si en el Seol preparo mi cama, Mira, allí estás Tú. (Sheol h7585)

If I ascende into heauen, thou art there: if I lye downe in hell, thou art there. (Sheol h7585)

9 Si tomo las alas del alba Y vivo en la parte más remota del mar,

Let mee take the winges of the morning, and dwell in the vttermost parts of the sea:

10 Aun allí me guiará tu mano Y me sostendrá tu mano derecha.

Yet thither shall thine hand leade me, and thy right hand holde me.

11 Si digo: Ciertamente la oscuridad me cubrirá, La luz a mi alrededor será la noche.

If I say, Yet the darkenes shall hide me, euen the night shalbe light about me.

12 Aun la oscuridad no es oscura para Ti, La noche resplandece como el día. Lo mismo son la oscuridad y la luz.

Yea, the darkenes hideth not from thee: but the night shineth as the day: the darkenes and light are both alike.

13 Tú formaste mis órganos internos. Me tejiste en el vientre de mi madre.

For thou hast possessed my reines: thou hast couered me in my mothers wombe.

14 Te doy gracias, Porque soy temerosa y maravillosamente formado. Maravillosas son tus obras, Y mi alma lo sabe muy bien.

I will praise thee, for I am fearefully and wonderously made: marueilous are thy workes, and my soule knoweth it well.

15 No fueron encubiertos de Ti mis huesos, Cuando en secreto fui hecho, Y entretejido en las profundidades de la tierra.

My bones are not hid from thee, though I was made in a secret place, and facioned beneath in the earth.

16 Tus ojos vieron mi embrión, Y en tu rollo estaban escritos todos Los días que me fueron ordenados, Cuando aún [no existía] uno de ellos.

Thine eyes did see me, when I was without forme: for in thy booke were all things written, which in continuance were facioned, when there was none of them before.

17 ¡Oh ʼEL, cuán preciosos me son tus pensamientos! ¡Cuán inmensa es la suma de ellos!

Howe deare therefore are thy thoughtes vnto me, O God! how great is ye summe of them!

18 Si los cuento, serían más que la arena. Cuando despierto, aún estoy contigo.

If I should count them, they are moe then the sand: when I wake, I am still with thee.

19 ¡Oh ʼEloah, si mataras al perverso, Si, por tanto, se alejan de mí los hombres sanguinarios!

Oh that thou wouldest slay, O God, the wicked and bloody men, to whom I say, Depart ye from mee:

20 Porque hablan contra Ti perversamente, Y tus enemigos toman [tu Nombre] en vano.

Which speake wickedly of thee, and being thine enemies are lifted vp in vaine.

21 Oh Yavé, ¿No aborrezco a los que te aborrecen? ¿No repugno a los que se levantan contra Ti?

Doe not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee? and doe not I earnestly contend with those that rise vp against thee?

22 Con absoluto odio los aborrezco. Son mis enemigos.

I hate them with an vnfained hatred, as they were mine vtter enemies.

23 Escudríñame, oh ʼEL, y conoce mi corazón. Pruébame y conoce mis ansiosos pensamientos,

Try mee, O God, and knowe mine heart: prooue me and know my thoughtes,

24 Ve si hay en mí camino de perversidad Y guíame en el camino eterno.

And consider if there be any way of wickednes in me, and leade me in the way for euer.
