Salmos 135
1 Alaben el Nombre de Yavé. Alábenlo, esclavos de Yavé,
Praise ye the name of the Lord: O you his servants, praise the Lord:
2 Ustedes quienes están en la Casa de Yavé, En los patios de la Casa de nuestro ʼElohim.
You that stand in the house of the Lord, in the courts of the house of our God.
3 ¡Aleluya, porque Yavé es bueno! Canten salmos a su Nombre, Porque [eso] es agradable.
Praise ye the Lord, for the Lord is good: sing ye to his name, for it is sweet.
4 Porque YA escogió a Jacob para Él, A Israel como su posesión.
For the Lord hath chosen Jacob unto himself: Israel for his own possession.
5 Porque yo sé que Yavé es grande, Y que nuestro ʼAdonay está por encima de todos los ʼelohim.
For I have known that the Lord is great, and our God is above all gods.
6 Yavé hace todo lo que quiere, Tanto en el cielo como en la tierra, En los mares y en todos los abismos.
Whatsoever the Lord hath pleased he hath done, in heaven, in earth, in the sea, and in all the deeps.
7 Él impulsa Para que las nieblas suban desde los confines de la tierra. Produce relámpagos para la lluvia, Saca de sus tesoros el viento.
He bringeth up clouds from the end of the earth: he hath made lightnings for the rain. He bringeth forth winds out of his stores:
8 Él fue el que mató a los primogénitos de Egipto, Tanto del hombre como del animal.
He slew the firstborn of Egypt from man even unto beast.
9 En medio de Ti, oh Egipto, envió señales y prodigios, Contra Faraón y todos sus esclavos.
He sent forth signs and wonders in the midst of thee, O Egypt: upon Pharao, and upon all his servants.
10 Destruyó a muchas naciones, Y mató a reyes poderosos:
He smote many nations, and slew mighty kings:
11 A Sehón rey de los amorreos, A Og rey de Basán, Y a todos los reyes de Canaán.
Sehon king of the Amorrhites, and Og king of Basan, and all the kingdoms of Chanaan.
12 Dio la tierra de ellos Como heredad a su pueblo Israel.
And gave their land for an inheritance, for an inheritance to his people Israel.
13 Oh Yavé, eterno es tu Nombre. Tu memoria, oh Yavé, por todas las generaciones.
Thy name, O Lord, is for ever: thy memorial, O Lord, unto all generations.
14 Porque Yavé juzgará a su pueblo Y tendrá compasión de sus esclavos.
For the Lord will judge his people, and will be entreated in favour of his servants.
15 Los ídolos de las naciones son [de] plata y oro, Obra de manos de hombre.
The idols of the Gentiles are silver and gold, the works of men’s hands.
16 Tienen bocas, pero no hablan. Tienen ojos, pero no ven.
They have a mouth, but they speak not: they have eyes, but they see not.
17 Tienen orejas, pero no oyen, Tampoco hay aliento en sus bocas.
They have ears, but they hear not: neither is there any breath in their mouths.
18 Los que las hacen son semejantes a ellos, Y todo el que confía en ellos.
Let them that make them be like to them: and every one that trusteth in them.
19 ¡Oh casa de Israel, bendiga a Yavé! ¡Oh casa de Aarón, bendiga a Yavé!
Bless the Lord, O house of Israel: bless the Lord, O house of Aaron.
20 ¡Oh casa de Leví, bendiga a Yavé! ¡Los que temen a Yavé, bendigan a Yavé!
Bless the Lord, O house of Levi: you that fear the Lord, bless the Lord.
21 ¡Desde Sion, bendito sea Yavé, Quien mora en Jerusalén! ¡Aleluya!
Blessed be the Lord out of Sion, who dwelleth in Jerusalem.
