Salmos 131

1 Oh Yavé, no se envaneció mi corazón, Ni mis ojos se enaltecieron, Ni anduve tras grandezas, Ni en cosas demasiado difíciles para mí.

Jehovah, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty. Neither do I exercise myself in grand matters, or in things too wonderful for me.

2 Ciertamente calmé y tranquilicé mi alma, Como un bebé destetado de su madre. Como un bebé destetado está mi alma dentro de mí.

Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul like a weaned child with his mother. Like a weaned child is my soul within me.

3 Espera, oh Israel, a Yavé Desde ahora y para siempre.

O Israel, hope in Jehovah from this time forth and for evermore.
