Salmos 130

1 Oh Yavé, de lo profundo de mi ser clamo a Ti.

Yahweh, I have a lot of troubles/many difficulties, so I call out to you.

2 ¡Oh ʼAdonay, escucha mi voz! Estén atentos tus oídos A la voz de mis súplicas.

Yahweh, hear me, while I call out to you [SYN] to be merciful to me!

3 Si Tú, YA, tomas en cuenta las iniquidades, ¿Quién, oh ʼAdonay, puede mantenerse en pie?

Yahweh, if you kept a record of the sins [that we have committed], not one [of us] [RHQ] would escape from being condemned [and punished]

4 Pero en Ti hay perdón Para que seas reverenciado.

But you forgive us, with the result that we greatly revere you.

5 Espero a Yavé. Mi alma espera. En tu Palabra fijo mi esperanza.

Yahweh has said [that he would help/rescue me]; I trust what he said, and I wait eagerly for him to do that.

6 Más que los centinelas a la mañana, Mi alma espera a ʼAdonay. ¡[Sí], más que los centinelas la mañana!

I wait for Yahweh [to help me] more than watchmen wait for the light to dawn; yes, I wait more eagerly than they do!

7 Oh Israel, espera a Yavé, Porque en Yavé hay misericordia, Y en Él hay gran redención.

You [my fellow] Israelis, confidently expect that Yahweh [will bless us]. [He will bless us] because he faithfully loves [us], and he is very willing to save/rescue [us].

8 Él redimirá a Israel de todas sus iniquidades.

And he will save us Israeli [people] from [being punished for] all the sins that [we] have committed.
