Salmos 13

1 ¿Hasta cuándo, oh Yavé? ¿Me olvidarás para siempre? ¿Hasta cuándo esconderás tu rostro de mí?

To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David. How long, Jehovah, wilt thou forget me for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

2 ¿Hasta cuándo pensaré profundamente Con tristeza en mi corazón cada día? ¿Hasta cuándo mi enemigo será enaltecido sobre mí?

How long shall I take counsel in my soul, with sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

3 ¡Considera, oh Yavé, ʼElohim mío, y respóndeme! Ilumina mis ojos, no sea que duerma el sueño de la muerte,

Consider, answer me, O Jehovah my God! lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the [sleep of] death;

4 No sea que mi enemigo diga: ¡Lo vencí! Mis adversarios gozan cuando soy sacudido.

Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him! [lest] mine adversaries be joyful when I am moved.

5 Confío en tu misericordia, Y mi corazón se gozará en tu salvación.

As for me, I have confided in thy loving-kindness; my heart shall be joyful in thy salvation.

6 Cantaré a Yavé Porque me llenó de bienes.

I will sing unto Jehovah, for he hath dealt bountifully with me.
