Salmos 122

1 Yo me alegraba cuando me decían: Vayamos a la Casa de Yavé.

“A psalm of the steps, or the goings up. By David.” I was glad when they said to me, Let us go up to the house of the LORD!

2 Nuestros pies están plantados dentro de tus puertas, Oh Jerusalén.

Our feet are standing Within thy gates, O Jerusalem!

3 Jerusalén está edificada Como una ciudad compacta,

Jerusalem, the rebuilt city! The city that is joined together!

4 Adonde suben las tribus de YA, Según una Ordenanza para Israel, A dar gracias al Nombre de Yavé,

Thither the tribes go up, The tribes of the LORD, according to the law of Israel, To praise the name of the LORD.

5 Porque allá están establecidos tronos de juicio, Los tronos de la casa de David.

There stand the thrones of judgment, The thrones of the house of David.

6 Oren por la paz de Jerusalén: Que prosperen los que te aman,

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! May they prosper who love thee!

7 Que haya paz dentro de tus muros Y prosperidad dentro de tus palacios.

Peace be within thy walls, And prosperity within thy palaces!

8 Por amor a mis hermanos y a mis amigos, diré ahora: Haya paz dentro de ti.

For my brethren and companions' sake will I say, Peace be within thee!

9 Por amor a la Casa de Yavé nuestro ʼElohim, Oraré por tu bien.

For the sake of the house of the LORD, our God, Will I seek thy good!
