< Salmos 111 >
1 Daré gracias a Yavé con todo [mi] corazón En la compañía de los rectos y en la congregación.
Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with [my] whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and [in] the congregation.
2 Grandes son las obras de Yavé, Estudiadas por todos los que se deleitan en ellas.
The works of the LORD [are] great, sought out by all them that have pleasure in them.
3 Espléndida y majestuosa es su obra, Y su justicia permanece para siempre.
His work [is] honorable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
4 Hizo memorables sus maravillas. Clemente y misericordioso es Yavé.
He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD [is] gracious and full of compassion.
5 Dio alimento a los que le temen. Para siempre se acordará de su Pacto.
He hath given food to them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.
6 El poder de sus obras manifestó a su pueblo Al darle la heredad de las naciones.
He hath shown his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.
7 Las obras de sus manos son verdad y justicia. Todos sus Preceptos son firmes.
The works of his hands [are] verity and judgment; all his commandments [are] sure.
8 Afirmados eternamente y para siempre, Hechos con verdad y rectitud.
They stand fast for ever and ever, [and are] done in truth and uprightness.
9 Envió redención a su pueblo. Estableció su Pacto para siempre. Santo y asombroso es su Nombre.
He sent redemption to his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend [is] his name.
10 El principio de la sabiduría es el temor a Yavé. Buen entendimiento tienen todos los que lo practican. Su alabanza permanece para siempre.
The fear of the LORD [is] the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do [his commandments]: his praise endureth for ever.
