Salmos 108

1 Mi corazón está firme, oh ʼElohim. Cantaré y entonaré salmos. Esta es mi gloria.

A Song, a Psalm of David. Prepared is my heart, O God, I sing, yea, I sing praise, also my honour.

2 Despierten, arpa y lira, Yo despertaré el alba.

Awake, psaltery and harp, I awake the dawn.

3 Oh Yavé, te daré gracias entre los pueblos. Entre las naciones te cantaré salmos,

I thank Thee among peoples, O Jehovah, And I praise Thee among the nations.

4 Porque tu misericordia es más grande que los cielos, Y hasta los cielos tu verdad.

For great above the heavens [is] Thy kindness, And unto the clouds Thy truth.

5 Exaltado seas por encima de los cielos, oh ʼElohim, Y tu gloria por encima de toda la tierra.

Be Thou exalted above the heavens, O God, And above all the earth Thy honour.

6 Para que sean librados tus amados, Salva con tu mano derecha, y respóndeme.

That Thy beloved ones may be delivered, Save [with] Thy right hand, and answer us.

7 ʼElohim respondió en su Santuario: Yo me alegraré. Repartiré a Siquem. Y mediré el valle de Sucot.

God hath spoken in His holiness: I exult, I apportion Shechem, And the valley of Succoth I measure,

8 Mío es Galaad, Mío es Manasés. También Efraín es el casco de mi cabeza. Judá es mi cetro.

Mine [is] Gilead, mine [is] Manasseh, And Ephraim [is] the strength of my head, Judah [is] my lawgiver,

9 Moab es la vasija en la cual me lavo. Sobre Edom lanzaré mi sandalia. Sobre Filistea proclamaré victoria.

Moab [is] a pot for my washing, Upon Edom I cast my shoe, Over Philistia I shout habitually.

10 ¿Quién me conducirá a la ciudad fortificada? ¿Quién me guiará hasta Edom?

Who doth bring me in to the fenced city? Who hath led me unto Edom?

11 ¿Tú, mismo, oh ʼElohim, no nos rechazaste? ¿Y no sales con nuestros ejércitos, oh ʼElohim?

Hast not Thou, O God, cast us off? And Thou goest not out, O God, with our hosts!

12 Socórrenos contra el adversario, Porque vana es la liberación del hombre.

Give to us help from adversity, And vain is the salvation of man.

13 Por medio de ʼElohim haremos proezas. Él pisoteará a nuestros enemigos.

In God we do mightily, And He doth tread down our adversaries!
