Salmos 105
1 Den gracias a Yavé. Invoquen su Nombre. Proclamen sus obras entre los pueblos.
Give thanks to YHWH—call on His Name, Make His acts known among the peoples.
2 Cántenle, cántenle salmos. Hablen de todas sus maravillas.
Sing to Him—sing praise to Him, Meditate on all His wonders.
3 Gloríense en su santo Nombre. Alégrese el corazón de los que buscan a Yavé.
Boast yourselves in His Holy Name, The heart of those seeking YHWH rejoices.
4 Busquen a Yavé y su poder. Busquen continuamente su rostro.
Seek YHWH and His strength, Seek His face continually.
5 Recuerden las maravillas que hizo Él, De sus prodigios y de los juicios de su boca,
Remember His wonders that He did, His signs and the judgments of His mouth.
6 ¡Oh ustedes, descendencia de Abraham su esclavo, Hijos de Jacob, su escogido!
O seed of Abraham, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.
7 Él es Yavé nuestro ʼElohim. En toda la tierra están sus juicios.
He [is] our God YHWH, His judgments [are] in all the earth.
8 Recordó para siempre su Pacto, El Pacto que ordenó para 1.000 generaciones,
He has remembered His covenant for all time, The word He commanded to one thousand generations,
9 Que hizo con Abraham, Y su juramento a Isaac,
That He has made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac,
10 Que estableció a Jacob por estatuto, A Israel como un Pacto sempiterno
And establishes it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel—a perpetual covenant,
11 Al decir: A ti te daré la tierra de Canaán Como porción de tu heredad.
Saying, “I give the land of Canaan to you, The portion of your inheritance,”
12 Cuando ellos eran unos pocos, En verdad muy pocos, Y forasteros en ella,
In their being few in number, But a few, and sojourners in it.
13 Y vagaban de nación en nación, Y de [un] reino a otro pueblo.
And they go up and down, from nation to nation, From a kingdom to another people.
14 No permitió que alguno los oprimiera. Y por amor a ellos reprendió a reyes.
He has not permitted any to oppress them And He reproves kings for their sakes.
15 No toquen a mis ungidos, Ni hagan daño a mis profetas.
“Do not strike against My anointed, And do no evil to My prophets.”
16 Trajo hambre sobre la tierra. Destruyó toda provisión de pan.
And He calls a famine on the land, He has broken the whole staff of bread.
17 Envió un varón delante de ellos. A José, vendido como esclavo.
He has sent a man before them, Joseph has been sold for a servant.
18 Afligieron sus pies con grilletes. Él mismo fue puesto en cadenas,
They have afflicted his feet with chains, Iron has entered his soul,
19 Hasta que se cumplió su predicción. La Palabra de Yavé lo probó.
Until the time of the coming of His word The saying of YHWH has tried him.
20 El rey envió y lo soltó. El soberano de pueblos lo libertó.
The king has sent, and looses him, The ruler of the peoples, and draws him out.
21 Lo puso como administrador de su casa, Y gobernador de todas sus posesiones,
He has made him lord of his house, And ruler over all his possessions.
22 Para encarcelar a sus gobernantes Como él quisiera, Y enseñar sabiduría a sus ancianos.
To bind his chiefs at his pleasure, And he makes his elderly wise.
23 Israel también fue a Egipto, Así que Jacob peregrinó en la tierra de Cam.
And Israel comes into Egypt, And Jacob has sojourned in the land of Ham.
24 Él aumentó a su pueblo grandemente, Hasta que fueron más fuertes que sus adversarios.
And He makes His people very fruitful, And makes it mightier than its adversaries.
25 Cambió el corazón de éstos Para que aborrecieran a su pueblo, Para que obraran astutamente contra sus esclavos.
He turned their heart to hate His people, To conspire against His servants.
26 Envió a Moisés su esclavo, Y a Aarón, al cual escogió.
He has sent His servant Moses, Aaron whom He had fixed on.
27 Puso en ellos las palabras de sus señales, Y sus maravillas en la tierra de Cam.
They have set among them the matters of His signs, And wonders in the land of Ham.
28 Envió oscuridad y oscureció. Y ellos no fueron rebeldes a las Palabras de Él.
He has sent darkness, and it is dark, And they have not provoked His word.
29 Convirtió sus aguas en sangre Y mató sus peces.
He has turned their waters to blood, And puts their fish to death.
30 Llenó su tierra de ranas Hasta en las alcobas de sus reyes.
Their land has teemed [with] frogs, In the inner chambers of their kings.
31 Habló, y llegaron enjambres de moscas y piojos en todo su territorio.
He has commanded, and the beetle comes, Lice into all their border.
32 Les dio lluvia de granizo y llamas de fuego en su tierra.
He has made their showers hail, A flaming fire [is] in their land.
33 Destrozó sus viñas y sus higueras Y quebró los árboles de su territorio.
And He strikes their vine and their fig, And shatters the trees of their border.
34 Habló, y llegaron saltamontes y pulgones sinnúmero,
He has commanded, and the locust comes, And the cankerworm—innumerable,
35 Y devoraron toda la vegetación en su tierra Y se comieron el fruto de su suelo.
And it consumes every herb in their land, And it consumes the fruit of their ground.
36 Golpeó también a todo primogénito en su tierra, Las primicias de todo su vigor.
And He strikes every firstborn in their land, The first-fruit of all their strength,
37 Luego los sacó con plata y oro. Entre sus tribus no hubo quien tropezara.
And brings them out with silver and gold, And there is not a feeble one in its tribes.
38 Egipto se alegró de que salieran, Porque su terror había caído sobre ellos.
Egypt has rejoiced in their going forth, For their fear had fallen on them.
39 Extendió una nube como cubierta Y fuego para iluminar la noche.
He has spread a cloud for a covering, And fire to enlighten the night.
40 Pidieron, Y Él atrajo codornices Y los sació de pan del cielo.
They have asked, and He brings quails, And satisfies them [with] bread of the heavens.
41 Abrió la peña, Y brotaron aguas. Corrieron por los sequedales [como] un río.
He has opened a rock, and waters flow, They have gone on in dry places—a river.
42 Porque recordó su santa Promesa [Dada] a su esclavo Abraham.
For He has remembered His holy word, With His servant Abraham,
43 Sacó a su pueblo con gozo, Con canto de júbilo a sus escogidos.
And He brings forth His people with joy, His chosen ones with singing.
44 Y también les dio las tierras de las naciones, Y tomaron posesión del trabajo de los pueblos,
And He gives to them the lands of nations, And they possess the labor of peoples,
45 Para que guardaran sus Estatutos, Y observaran sus Leyes. ¡Alaben a YA!
That they may observe His statutes, And may keep His laws. Praise YAH!
