Salmos 101

1 Cantaré de tu misericordia y justicia. A Ti, oh Yavé, cantaré salmos.

“A psalm of David.” I will sing of mercy and justice; To thee, O LORD! will I sing!

2 Observaré atentamente el camino de la integridad. ¿Cuándo vendrás a mí? Andaré en la integridad de mi corazón en medio de mi casa.

I will have regard to the way of uprightness: When thou shalt come to me, I will walk within my house with an upright heart.

3 No pondré ante mis ojos cosa indigna. Aborrezco la obra de los que se desvían. No me atrapará.

I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes; I hate the work of evil-doers; It shall not cleave to me.

4 El corazón perverso se apartará de mí. No reconoceré al perverso.

The perverse in heart shall be far from me; I will not know a wicked person.

5 Destruiré al que secretamente calumnia a su prójimo. No soportaré al altivo de ojos y orgulloso de corazón.

Whoso slandereth his neighbor in secret, him will I cut off; Him that hath a haughty look and a proud heart I will not endure.

6 Sobre los fieles de la tierra fijaré mis ojos Para que estén conmigo. El que anda en camino de integridad me servirá.

Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; He that walketh in the way of uprightness shall serve me.

7 No vivirá en mi casa el que practica fraude, El que habla mentira no permanecerá delante de mí.

He who practiseth deceit shall not dwell in my house; He who telleth lies shall not remain in my sight.

8 Por las mañanas destruiré a todos los perversos de la tierra, Para extirpar de la ciudad de Yavé a todos los malhechores.

Every morning will I destroy the wicked of the land, That I may cut off all evil-doers from the city of the LORD.
