Nehemías 7
1 Cuando el muro quedó reconstruido y coloqué las hojas de las puertas, los porteros, los cantores y los levitas se encargaron de sus funciones.
Now it came to pass, when the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the Levites were appointed,
2 Entonces puse al frente de Jerusalén a mi hermano Hanani, y a Hananías, jefe de la ciudadela, pues éste era un hombre fiel y temía a ʼElohim más que muchos.
That I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace, charge over Jerusalem: for he [was] a faithful man, and feared God above many.
3 Les dije: Las puertas de Jerusalén no serán abiertas hasta que caliente el sol. Aunque los porteros estén presentes, las puertas permanecerán cerradas y trancadas. Sean designados vigías de entre los habitantes de Jerusalén, cada cual en su vigilia, y cada uno frente a su propia casa.
And I said to them, Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun shall be hot; and while they stand by, let them shut the doors, and bar [them]: and appoint watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one [to be] over against his house.
4 Porque la ciudad era espaciosa y grande, pero la gente que vivía allí era poca, y las casas aún no estaban reconstruidas.
Now the city [was] large and great: but the people in it [were] few, and the houses [were] not built.
5 Mi ʼElohim puso en mi corazón reunir a los notables, los jefes y el pueblo, para que fueran reconocidos por genealogía, pues yo encontré el rollo de la genealogía de los que subieron primero, donde hallé escrito:
And my God put into my heart to assemble the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. And I found a register of the genealogy of them who came up at the first, and found written in it,
6 Estos son hijos de la provincia que subieron del cautiverio de los que fueron deportados, a quienes Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, se llevó, y que regresaron a Jerusalén y Judá, cada uno a su ciudad,
These [are] the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity, of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and came again to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one to his city;
7 quienes vinieron con Zorobabel, Jesuá, Nehemías, Azarías, Raamías, Nahamani, Mardoqueo, Bilsán, Misperet, Bigvay, Nehum, Baana. El número de los varones del pueblo de Israel fue:
Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number, [I say], of the men of the people of Israel [was this];

The children of Lebana, the children of Hagaba, the children of Shalmai,
49 hijos de Hanán, hijos de Gidel, hijos de Gahar,
The children of Hanan, the children of Giddel, the children of Gahar,
50 hijos de Reaía, hijos de Rezín, hijos de Necoda,
The children of Reaiah, the children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda,
51 hijos de Gazam, hijos de Uza, hijos de Paseah,
The children of Gazzam, the children of Uzza, the children of Phaseah,
52 hijos de Besai, hijos de Mehunim, hijos de Nefisesim,
The children of Besai, the children of Meunim, the children of Nephishesim,
53 hijos de Bacbuc, hijos de Hacufa, hijos de Harhur,
The children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur,
54 hijos de Bazlut, hijos de Mehída, hijos de Harsa,
The children of Bazlith, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha,
55 hijos de Barcos, hijos de Sísara, hijos de Tema,
The children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Tamah,
56 hijos de Nezía, hijos de Hatifa,
The children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.
57 hijos de los esclavos de Salomón, hijos de Sotay, hijos de Soferet, hijos de Perida,
The children of Solomon's servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Perida,
58 hijos de Jaala, hijos de Darcón, hijos de Gidel,
The children of Jaala, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,
59 hijos de Sefatías, hijos de Hatil, hijos de Poqueret-hazebaim, hijos de Amón:
The children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth of Zebaim, the children of Amon.
60 Todos los servidores y los hijos de los esclavos de Salomón eran 392.
All the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon's servants, [were] three hundred and ninety two.
61 Y éstos son los que subieron de Telmela, Telharsa, Querub, Adón e Imer, y no pudieron indicar sus casas paternas, ni su linaje, ni si eran de Israel o no:
And these [were] they who went up [also] from Tel-mela, Tel-haresha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer: but they could not show their fathers house, nor their seed, whether they [were] of Israel.
62 Los hijos de Delaía, los hijos de Tobías, los hijos de Necoda: 642.
The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred and forty two.
63 Y de los sacerdotes: los hijos de Habaía, los hijos de Cos, los hijos de Barzilay, el cual tomó esposa de las hijas de Barzilay galaadita, con el nombre del cual fue llamado.
And of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai, who took [one] of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite for a wife, and was called after their name.
64 Éstos buscaron su registro genealógico pero no fue hallado, por lo cual fueron excluidos del sacerdocio por estar impuros.
These sought their register [among] those that were reckoned by genealogy, but it was not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.
65 Y el gobernador les dijo que no comieran de las cosas santas hasta que se levantara sacerdote con Urim y Tumim.
And the Tirshatha said to them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there should stand [up] a priest with Urim and Thummim.
66 Toda la congregación reunida era de 42.360,
The whole congregation together [was] forty two thousand three hundred and sixty.
67 aparte de sus esclavos y sus esclavas, que eran 6.336; y entre ellos había 245 cantores y cantoras.
Besides their man-servants and their maid-servants, of whom [there were] seven thousand three hundred and thirty seven: and they had two hundred and forty five singing-men and singing-women.
68 Sus caballos eran 736, y sus mulas 245.
Their horses, seven hundred and thirty six: their mules, two hundred and forty five:
69 Sus camellos eran 435, y sus asnos 6.730.
[Their] camels, four hundred and thirty five: six thousand seven hundred and twenty asses.
70 Algunos jefes de las casas paternas aportaron para la obra. El gobernador dio al tesoro 8 kilogramos de oro, 50 tazones y 530 túnicas sacerdotales.
And some of the chief of the fathers gave to the work. The Tirshatha gave to the treasure a thousand drams of gold, fifty basins, five hundred and thirty priests' garments.
71 Algunos jefes de las casas paternas ofrendaron 160 kilogramos de oro y 1.210 kilogramos de plata para el tesoro de la obra.
And [some] of the chief of the fathers gave to the treasure of the work, twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand and two hundred pounds of silver.
72 El resto del pueblo dio 160 kilogramos de oro, 1.100 kilogramos de plata y 67 túnicas sacerdotales.
And [that] which the rest of the people gave [was] twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand pounds of silver, and sixty seven priests' garments.
73 Los sacerdotes y levitas, los porteros y cantores, algunos del pueblo, los servidores y todo Israel vivieron nuevamente en sus ciudades. Cuando llegó el mes séptimo los hijos de Israel estaban en sus ciudades.
So the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and [some] of the people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel [were] in their cities.
