Nehemías 3
1 Entonces el sumo sacerdote Eliasib se levantó con sus hermanos sacerdotes. Reedificaron la puerta de las Ovejas, pusieron las hojas de la puerta y la consagraron. Reedificaron la torre de los Cien y consagraron [el muro] hasta la torre Hanan-ʼEl.
Then rose up Elyashib the high priest with his brethren the priests, and they built the sheep-gate; they sanctified it, and set up its doors: even as far as the tower of Meah did they sanctify it, as far as the tower of Chananel.
2 Junto a ellos los varones de Jericó reedificaron, y a su lado Zacur, hijo de Imri, también reedificó.
And by his side built the men of Jericho. And by his [other] side built Zaccur the son of Imri.
3 Los hijos de Senaa reedificaron la puerta de los Peces. Ellos la enmaderaron y pusieron las hojas de su puerta, con sus cerraduras y cerrojos.
But the fish-gate did the sons of Hassenaah build: they also laid its beams, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.
4 Junto a ellos Meremot, hijo de Urías, hijo de Cos, reedificó. Junto a él restauró Mesulam, hijo de Berequías, hijo de Mesezabeel, y a su lado reparó Sadoc, hijo de Baana.
And alongside of them repaired Meremoth the son of Uriyah, the son of Kakkoz. And alongside of them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechyah, the son of Meshezabel. And alongside of them repaired Zadok the son of Ba'ana.
5 Los tecoítas repararon junto a ellos, pero sus nobles no apoyaron el trabajo de sus señores.
And alongside of them repaired the Teko'ites; but their principal men put not their necks to the work of their Lord.
6 La puerta Antigua fue reparada por Joiada, hijo de Pasea, y Mesulam, hijo de Besodías. Ellos mismos la enmaderaron, pusieron las hojas de su puerta, sus cerraduras y sus cerrojos.
Moreover the old gate repaired Yoyada' the son of Passeach, and Meshullam the son of Bessodeyah: they laid its beams, and set up its doors, and its locks, and its bars.
7 Junto a ellos repararon Melatías gabaonita y Jadón meronotita, hombres de Gabaón y Mizpa, según la autoridad del gobernador de Más Allá del Río.
And alongside of them repaired Melatyah the Gib'onite, and Jadon the Meronothite, men of Gib'on and of Mizpah, unto the seat of the governor on this side of the river.
8 Al lado de ellos reparó Uziel, hijo de Harhaía, uno de los que trabajaban con objetos de metales preciosos. Junto a él restauró Hananías, hijo de un perfumista. Así restauraron [el muro de] Jerusalén hasta el muro ancho.
Alongside of him repaired 'Uzziel the son of Charhayah, of the goldsmiths. And alongside of him repaired Chananyah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified Jerusalem as far as the broad wall.
9 Junto a ellos reparó Refaías, hijo de Hur, jefe de la mitad del distrito Jerusalén.
And alongside of them repaired Rephayah the son of Chur, the chief of the half of the district of Jerusalem.
10 Y junto a él Jedaías, hijo de Harumaf, reparó al frente de su casa. A su lado reparó Hatús, hijo de Hasabnías.
And alongside of them repaired Jedayah the son of Charumaph, and this opposite to his house. And alongside of him repaired Chattush the son of Chashabneyah.
11 Malquías, hijo de Harim, y Hasub, hijo de Pajat-moab, repararon el otro tramo y la torre de los Hornos.
Another division did Malkiyah the son of Charim, and Chashub the son of Pachathmoab, repair, as also the tower of the ovens.
12 Junto a ellos reparó Salum, hijo de Halohes, jefe de la otra mitad del distrito Jerusalén, él con sus hijas.
And alongside of him repaired Shallum the son of Hallochesh, the chief of the other half of the district of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.
13 Hanún reparó la puerta del Valle con los habitantes de Zanoa. Ellos la reedificaron y pusieron las hojas de su puerta, sus cerraduras y sus cerrojos, y además 450 metros del muro hasta la puerta del Muladar.
The gate of the valley repaired Chanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoach: they built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and a thousand cubits of the wall as far as the dung-gate.
14 Malquías, hijo de Recab, jefe del distrito Bet-haquerem, reparó la puerta del Muladar. Él mismo la reedificó y puso las hojas de su puerta, sus cerraduras y sus cerrojos.
And the dung-gate repaired Malkiyah the son of Rechah, the chief of the district of Beth-hakkerem: he built it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars.
15 Salum, hijo de Colhoze, jefe de la región de Mizpa, reparó la puerta de la Fuente. Él la reedificó, la enmaderó y puso sus hojas, sus cerraduras y sus cerrojos. También edificó el muro junto al estanque de Siloé, hacia el jardín del Rey, hasta las gradas que descienden de la Ciudad de David.
And the gate of the fountain repaired Shallum the son of Col-chozeh, the chief of the district of Mizpah: he built it and covered it, and set up its doors, its locks, and its bars, and the wall of the pool of Shelach by the king's garden, and as far as the stairs that lead down from the city of David.
16 Después de él, Nehemías, hijo de Azbuc, jefe de la mitad del distrito Bet-sur, reparó hasta frente a los Sepulcros de David, el estanque artificial y la casa de los Valientes.
Next to him repaired Nehemiah the son of 'Azbuk, the chief of the half district of Beth-zur, as far as the place opposite to the sepulchres of David, and as far as the pool that was [newly] made, and as far as the house of the mighty men.
17 Tras él repararon los levitas [dirigidos por] Reum, hijo de Bani, junto al cual reparó Hasabías, jefe de la mitad del distrito Queila, por cuenta de su distrito.
Next to him repaired the Levites: Rechum the son of Bani. Alongside of him repaired Chashabyah, the chief of the half district of Ke'ilah, for his district.
18 Después de él repararon sus hermanos y Bavay, hijo de Henadad, jefe de la otra mitad del distrito Queila.
Next to him repaired their brethren: Bavai the son of Chenadad, the chief of the [other] half district of Ke'ilah.
19 Junto a él, Ezer, hijo de Jesuá, jefe de Mizpa, reparó el otro tramo, frente a la subida del Arsenal del ángulo.
And there repaired alongside of him 'Ezer the son of Joshua, the chief of Mizpah, another division, opposite to the ascent to the armory at the angle.
20 Después de él, Baruc, hijo de Zaba, reparó con gran fervor el tramo que va desde este ángulo hasta la puerta de la casa de Eliasib, el sumo sacerdote.
Next to him did Baruch the son of Zaccai' earnestly repair another division, from the angle as far as the door of the house of Elyashib the high priest.
21 Después de él, Meremot, hijo de Urías, hijo de Cos, reparó otro tramo desde la entrada hasta el extremo de la casa de Eliasib.
Next to him repaired Meremoth the son of Uriyah the son of Hakkoz another division, from the door of the house of Elyashib even as far as the end of the house of Elyashib.
22 Detrás de él repararon los sacerdotes procedentes de la llanura.
And next to him repaired the priests, the men of the plain [of Jordan].
23 A continuación de ellos, Benjamín y Jasub repararon frente a su casa, y después de éstos, Azarías, hijo de Maasías, hijo de Ananías, reparó junto a su casa.
Next to him repaired Benjamin and Chashub opposite to their house. Next to him repaired 'Azaryah the son of Ma'aseyah the son of 'Ananyah alongside of his house.
24 A continuación, Binúi, hijo de Henadad, reparó otro tramo desde la casa de Azarías hasta el ángulo y la esquina.
Next to him repaired Binnui the son of Chenadad another division, from the house of 'Azaryah as far as the angle, and as far as the corner.
25 Palal, hijo de Uzay, reparó frente a la esquina y la torre elevada que sobresale de la casa del Rey, que está en el patio de la cárcel, y después de él, Pedaías, hijo de Faros.
Palal the son of Uzai [repaired] from opposite to the angle, and the tower which standeth out from the king's upper house, that was by the court of the prison. Next to him Pedayah the son of Par'osh.
26 También los servidores establecidos en Ofel repararon hasta enfrente de la puerta de las Aguas, al oriente de la torre que sobresale.
And the temple-servants dwelt on the hill fort, [and they built] as far as opposite to the water-gate toward the east, and the tower that standeth out.
27 Después de ellos los tecoítas repararon otro tramo, desde frente a la torre grande que sobresale hasta el muro de Ofel.
Next to them repaired the Teko'ites another division from opposite the great tower that standeth out, and as far as the wall of the hill fort.
28 Los sacerdotes repararon adelante de la puerta de los Caballos, cada uno frente a su casa.
From above the horse-gate repaired the priests, every one opposite to his house.
29 Detrás de ellos Sadoc, hijo de Imer, reparó frente a su casa, y después de él reparó Semaías, hijo de Secanías, guarda de la puerta Oriental.
Next to this repaired Zadok the son of Immer opposite to his house. And next to him repaired Shema'yah the son of Schechanyah, the keeper of the east gate.
30 En seguida de él, Hananías, hijo de Selemías, reparó otro tramo junto con Hanún, sexto hijo de Salaf. Tras éste Mesulam, hijo de Berequías, reparó frente a su casa.
Next to him repaired Chananyah the son of Shelemyah, and Chanun the sixth son of Zalaph another division. Next to him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechyah opposite to his chamber.
31 Tras él, Malquías, hijo del platero, reparó hasta las casas de los servidores del Templo y los mercaderes, enfrente de la puerta del Juicio y hasta el aposento alto de la esquina.
Next to him repaired Malkiyah the goldsmith's son as far as the house of the temple-servants, and of the merchants, opposite to the mustering-gate, and to the upper chamber of the corner.
32 Los orífices y los mercaderes repararon entre el aposento alto de la esquina y la puerta de las Ovejas.
And between the upper chamber of the corner and the sheep-gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.
