San Mateo 7
1 No juzguen, para que no sean juzgados.
Judge not, that ye be not judged:
2 Porque con el juicio con el cual juzgan, serán juzgados, y con la medida con la cual midan, se les medirá.
for with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured back again to you.
3 ¿Por qué miras la brizna que está en el ojo de tu hermano, y no consideras la viga que está en tu ojo?
And why dost thou look at the splinter in thy brother's eye, but takest no notice of the beam in thine own eye?
4 O, ¿cómo dirás a tu hermano: Deja que saque la brizna de tu ojo, y sin embargo tienes la viga en tu propio ojo?
Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me take the chaff out of thine eye, and behold, there is a beam in thine own eye?
5 ¡Hipócrita! Saca primero la viga de tu ojo, y entonces verás bien para sacar la brizna del ojo de tu hermano.
Thou hypocrite, first get the beam out of thine own eye; and then thou wilt see how to take the splinter out of thy brother's eye.
6 No den lo santo a los perros ni echen sus perlas a los cerdos, no sea que las pisoteen, se lancen contra ustedes y los despedacen.
Give not that which is holy unto dogs, nor cast your pearls before swine; least they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you.
7 Pidan y se les dará. Busquen y hallarán. Llamen a la puerta y se les abrirá.
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 Porque todo el que pide recibe, y el que busca halla, y al que llama a la puerta, se le abrirá.
for every one, that asketh, receiveth; and he, that seeketh, findeth; and to him, that knocketh, it shall be opened.
9 ¿Cuál hombre de ustedes, si su hijo le pide un pan, le da una piedra?
Is there any man among you, who, if his son ask him for bread, will give him a stone?
10 O si le pide un pescado, ¿le da una serpiente?
or if he ask for a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 Pues si ustedes, que son malos, saben dar buenos regalos a sus hijos, ¡cuánto más su Padre celestial dará cosas buenas a los que le piden!
If ye then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to them that ask Him?
12 Así que, todo lo que quieran que los hombres les hagan, háganles también ustedes, porque ésta es la Ley y los profetas.
All things therefore whatsoever ye would have men do to you, do ye also in like manner unto them: for this is the doctrine of the law and the prophets.
13 Entren por la puerta estrecha, porque ancha es la puerta y espacioso el camino que conduce a la perdición y muchos entran por ella.
Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be who go in thereat:
14 ¡Cuán estrecha es la puerta y angosto el camino que conduce a la vida! Pocos son los que la hallan.
whereas the gate is narrow, and the way troublesome, which leadeth into life, and few there be that find it.
15 Guárdense de los falsos profetas, quienes vienen a ustedes con ropas de ovejas, pero por dentro son lobos rapaces.
And beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheeps clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
16 Por sus frutos los reconocerán. ¿Se recogen uvas de los espinos, o higos de los abrojos?
Ye will know them by their fruits: do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Así, todo árbol bueno da frutos buenos, pero el árbol malo da frutos malos.
so every good tree yieldeth good fruit, but a corrupt tree produces bad fruit:
18 No puede un árbol bueno dar frutos malos, ni un árbol malo dar frutos buenos.
a good tree cannot produce evil fruit, nor can a corrupt tree bear good fruit:
19 Todo árbol que no da buen fruto se corta y se echa al fuego.
and every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.
20 Así que ustedes los conocerán por sus frutos.
So then by their fruits ye will know them.
21 No todo el que me dice: Señor, Señor, entrará en el reino celestial, sino el que hace la voluntad de mi Padre celestial.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doth the will of my Father, who is in heaven:
22 Muchos me dirán en aquel día: Señor, Señor, ¿no profetizamos en tu Nombre, y en tu Nombre echamos fuera demonios, y en tu Nombre hicimos muchos milagros?
many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name, and in thy name have cast out devils, and in thy name have wrought many miracles? and I will then declare unto them,
23 Entonces les diré: Nunca los conocí. ¡Apártense de Mí, obradores de maldad!
I never owned you, depart from me, ye workers of iniquity.
24 Cualquiera, pues, que oye estas Palabras y las practica, será semejante a un hombre prudente que edificó su casa sobre la roca.
Whoever therefore heareth these words of mine, and performeth them, I will compare him to a prudent man, who built his house on a rock:
25 Cayó la lluvia, llegaron los torrentes, soplaron los vientos y golpearon aquella casa. Pero no cayó, porque estaba cimentada sobre la roca.
and the rain fell upon it, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell not; for it was founded upon a rock.
26 Pero cualquiera que oye estas Palabras y no las practica, será semejante a un varón insensato que edificó su casa sobre la arena.
And whoever heareth these words of mine, and performeth them not, shall be likened to a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand:
27 Cayó la lluvia, llegaron los torrentes, soplaron los vientos y golpearon aquella casa. Y cayó, y fue grande su ruina.
and the rain fell upon it, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell, and the fall thereof was great.
28 Sucedió que cuando Jesús terminó estas palabras, la multitud quedó asombrada de su enseñanza,
And when Jesus had ended these discourses, the people were amazed at his doctrine:
29 porque les enseñaba como quien tiene autoridad y no como sus escribas.
for he taught them as one who had authority, and not as the scribes.
