San Mateo 13
1 Ese día Jesús salió de la casa y
And in that day Jesus, having gone forth from the house, was sitting by the sea,
2 una gran multitud se reunió ante Él. Así que Él entró en una barca, se sentó y toda la muchedumbre estaba en pie en la playa.
and gathered together to Him were many multitudes, so that He having gone into the boat sat down, and all the multitude on the beach stood,
3 Les habló muchas cosas en parábolas. El sembrador salió a sembrar.
and He spoke to them many things in allegories, saying, “Behold, the sower went forth to sow,
4 Cuando sembraba, una parte de las semillas cayó junto al camino. Llegaron las aves y las comieron.
and in his sowing, some indeed fell by the way, and the birds having come, devoured them,
5 Otra cayó en pedregales donde no había mucha tierra. Enseguida brotó por cuanto no tenía profundidad de tierra.
and others fell on the rocky places where they did not have much earth, and immediately they sprang forth, through having no depth of earth,
6 Pero al salir el sol se marchitó, y como no tenía raíz se secó.
and the sun having risen they were scorched, and through having no root, they withered,
7 Otra cayó entre los espinos, y éstos crecieron y la ahogaron.
and others fell on the thorns, and the thorns came up and choked them,
8 Pero otra parte cayó en la tierra buena y dio fruto, una ciertamente a 100 por uno, otra a 70 y otra a 30.
and others fell on the good ground, and were giving fruit, some indeed a hundredfold, and some sixty, and some thirty.
9 El que tiene oídos, escuche.
He who is having ears to hear—let him hear.”
10 Los discípulos se acercaron y le preguntaron: ¿Por qué les hablas en parábolas?
And the disciples having come near, said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in allegories?”
11 Él respondió: Porque a ustedes se les concedió entender los misterios del reino celestial, pero a ellos no.
And He answering said to them that, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of the heavens, and to these it has not been given,
12 Porque al que tiene se le dará y tendrá en abundancia. Pero al que no tiene, aun lo que tiene se le quitará.
for whoever has, it will be given to him, and he will have overabundance, and whoever has not, even that which he has will be taken from him.
13 Por esto les hablo en parábolas, Porque cuando ven no miran, y cuando oyen no entienden.
Because of this, in allegories I speak to them, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor understand,
14 Se cumple en ellos la profecía de Isaías, quien dijo: y cuando ven, que de ningún modo perciban.
and fulfilled on them is the prophecy of Isaiah that says, With hearing you will hear, and you will not understand, and seeing you will see, and you will not perceive,
15 Porque el corazón de este pueblo fue endurecido. Difícilmente oyeron con los oídos, cerraron sus ojos para no ver con los ojos, ni escuchar con los oídos, ni entender con el corazón, ni convertirse para que Yo los sane.
for the heart of this people was made obtuse, and with the ears they barely heard, and they closed their eyes, lest they might see with the eyes, and might hear with the ears, and understand with the heart, and turn back, and I might heal them.
16 Pero inmensamente felices los ojos de ustedes porque miran, y sus oídos porque escuchan.
And blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear,
17 Porque en verdad les digo que muchos profetas y justos desearon ver lo que ustedes ven, y no lo vieron, y oír lo que oyen, y no lo oyeron.
for truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see that which you look on, and they did not see, and to hear that which you hear, and they did not hear.
18 Oigan, pues, ustedes la parábola del sembrador.
You, therefore, hear the allegory of the sower:
19 El maligno llega y arrebata lo sembrado en el corazón de todo el que oye la Palabra del reino y no la entiende. Éste es el de junto al camino.
Everyone hearing the word of the kingdom, and not understanding—the evil one comes, and snatches that which has been sown in his heart; this is that sown by the way.
20 El sembrado en los pedregales es el que oye la Palabra y enseguida la recibe con gozo,
And that sown on the rocky places, this is he who is hearing the word, and immediately with joy is receiving it,
21 pero no tiene raíz en él y por eso es de corta duración. Cuando viene una tribulación o una persecución por causa de la Palabra, enseguida es derrotado.
and he has no root in himself, but is temporary, and persecution or tribulation having happened because of the word, immediately he is stumbled.
22 Y el que fue sembrado entre espinas es el que oye la Palabra, pero el afán del mundo y el engaño de la riqueza ahogan la Palabra y no da fruto. (aiōn g165)
And that sown toward the thorns, this is he who is hearing the word, and the anxiety of this age, and the deceitfulness of the riches, chokes the word, and it becomes unfruitful. (aiōn g165)
23 Pero el que fue sembrado en tierra buena es el que oye y entiende la Palabra, da fruto y produce uno a ciento, otro a 70, otro a 30.
And that sown on the good ground: this is he who is hearing the word, and is understanding, who indeed bears fruit, and makes, some indeed a hundredfold, and some sixty, and some thirty.”
24 Otra parábola les propuso: El reino celestial fue comparado a un hombre que sembró buena semilla en su campo.
Another allegory He set before them, saying, “The kingdom of the heavens was likened to a man sowing good seed in his field,
25 Pero, cuando los hombres dormían, vino su enemigo, sobresembró cizaña en medio del trigo y escapó.
and while men are sleeping, his enemy came and sowed darnel in the midst of the wheat, and went away,
26 Cuando germinó el tallo y dio fruto, entonces aparecieron también las cizañas.
and when the herb sprang up, and yielded fruit, then appeared also the darnel.
27 Los esclavos del dueño de la casa se acercaron y le preguntaron: Señor, ¿No sembraste buena semilla en tu campo? ¿De dónde, pues, salieron las cizañas?
And the servants of the householder, having come near, said to him, Lord, did you not sow good seed in your field? From where then does it have the darnel?
28 Y él les contestó: Algún enemigo hizo esto. Los esclavos le preguntaron: ¿Quieres que vayamos y las recojamos?
And he says to them, A man, an enemy, did this; and the servants said to him, Will you, then, [that] having gone away we may gather it up?
29 Pero él contestó: No, no sea que al recoger las cizañas arranquen el trigo con ellas.
And he said, No, lest—gathering up the darnel—you root up with it the wheat;
30 Dejen crecer juntamente lo uno y lo otro hasta la cosecha, y en el tiempo de la cosecha diré a los cosechadores: Recojan primero las cizañas y átenlas en manojos para quemarlas totalmente, pero recojan el trigo en mi granero.
permit both to grow together until the harvest, and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather up first the darnel, and bind it in bundles, to burn it, and the wheat gather up into my storehouse.”
31 Les propuso otra parábola: El reino celestial es semejante a una semilla de mostaza que un hombre tomó y [la] sembró en su campo,
Another allegory He set before them, saying, “The kingdom of the heavens is like to a grain of mustard, which a man having taken, sowed in his field,
32 la cual en verdad es la más pequeña de todas las semillas, pero cuando crece es la mayor de las hortalizas. Es un árbol de tal tamaño que las aves del cielo vienen y anidan en sus ramas.
which less, indeed, is than all the seeds, but when it may be grown, is greatest of the herbs, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the sky come and rest in its branches.”
33 Les presentó otra parábola: El reino celestial es semejante a [la] levadura que tomó una mujer y escondió en tres medidas de harina, hasta que todo fue leudado.
Another allegory He spoke to them: “The kingdom of the heavens is like to leaven, which a woman having taken, hid in three measures of meal, until the whole was leavened.”
34 Jesús habló todas estas cosas a la multitud en parábolas. Nada les hablaba sin parábola,
All these things Jesus spoke in allegories to the multitudes, and without an allegory He was not speaking to them,
35 para que se cumpliera lo dicho por el profeta: Abriré mi boca en parábolas. Declararé cosas escondidas desde la creación.
that it might be fulfilled that was spoken through the prophet, saying, “I will open in allegories My mouth, I will utter things having been hidden from the foundation of the world.”
36 Cuando despidió a la multitud entró en la casa. Sus discípulos se acercaron a Él y le dijeron: Explícanos la parábola de las cizañas del campo.
Then having let away the multitudes, Jesus came into the house, and His disciples came near to Him, saying, “Explain to us the allegory of the darnel of the field.”
37 El les respondió: El que siembra la buena semilla es el Hijo del Hombre.
And He answering said to them, “He who is sowing the good seed is the Son of Man,
38 El campo es el mundo, la buena semilla son los hijos del reino y las cizañas son los hijos del maligno.
and the field is the world, and the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom, and the darnel are the sons of the evil one,
39 El enemigo que las sembró es el diablo, la cosecha es el fin del mundo y los cosechadores son los ángeles. (aiōn g165)
and the enemy who sowed them is the Devil, and the harvest is [the] full end of the age, and the reapers are messengers. (aiōn g165)
40 Por tanto, así como la cizaña es recogida y destruida con fuego, así sucederá en el fin del mundo. (aiōn g165)
As, then, the darnel is gathered up, and is burned with fire, so will it be in the full end of this age; (aiōn g165)
41 El Hijo del Hombre enviará a sus ángeles y recogerán de su reino a todos los que son piedra de tropiezo y a los que practican iniquidad,
the Son of Man will send forth His messengers, and they will gather up out of His kingdom all the stumbling-blocks, and those doing the lawlessness,
42 y los echarán al horno de fuego. Allí será el llanto y el crujido de los dientes.
and will cast them into the furnace of the fire; there will be the weeping and the gnashing of the teeth.
43 Entonces los justos resplandecerán como el sol en el reino de su Padre. El que tiene oídos, escuche.
Then will the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who is having ears to hear—let him hear.
44 El reino celestial es semejante a un tesoro escondido en el campo. Un hombre lo halla y [lo] esconde. Por el gozo de ello, va y vende todo lo que tiene y compra aquel campo.
Again, the kingdom of the heavens is like to treasure hid in the field, which a man having found, hid, and from his joy goes, and all, as much as he has, he sells, and buys that field.
45 También el reino celestial es semejante a un comerciante que busca buenas perlas.
Again, the kingdom of the heavens is like to a man, a merchant, seeking good pearls,
46 Cuando encuentra una perla muy preciosa, va y vende todo lo que tiene y la compra.
who having found one pearl of great price, having gone away, has sold all, as much as he had, and bought it.
47 También el reino celestial es semejante a una red que fue bajada al mar y recogió de todo.
Again, the kingdom of the heavens is like to a net that was cast into the sea, and gathered together of every kind,
48 Cuando se llena, la sacan a la playa. Se sientan, recogen los peces buenos en canastos y echan fuera los malos.
which, when it was filled, having drawn up again on the beach, and having sat down, they gathered the good into vessels, and the bad they cast out,
49 Así será en el fin del mundo. Los ángeles saldrán, separarán a los malvados de entre los justos (aiōn g165)
so will it be in the full end of the age, the messengers will come forth and separate the evil out of the midst of the righteous, (aiōn g165)
50 y los echarán al horno de fuego. Allí será el llanto y el crujido de los dientes.
and will cast them into the furnace of the fire; there will be the weeping and the gnashing of the teeth.”
51 ¿Entendieron todas estas cosas? Le respondieron: Sí.
Jesus says to them, “Did you understand all these?” They say to Him, “Yes, Lord.”
52 Él les dijo: Por esto, todo el que ha adquirido conocimientos profundos sobre el reino celestial es semejante a un padre de familia que saca cosas nuevas y cosas viejas de su tesoro.
And He said to them, “Because of this, every scribe having been discipled in regard to the kingdom of the heavens is like to a man, a householder, who brings forth out of his treasure things new and old.”
53 Cuando Jesús acabó de decir estas parábolas, salió de allí.
And it came to pass, when Jesus finished these allegories, He removed from there,
54 Llegó a su tierra. En su congregación les enseñaba de tal modo que ellos quedaron asombrados y decían: ¿De dónde [le vienen] a Éste esa sabiduría y poderes milagrosos?
and having come to His own country, He was teaching them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and were saying, “From where to this One this wisdom and the mighty works?
55 ¿No es éste el hijo del carpintero? ¿No se llama su madre María, y sus hermanos Jacobo, José, Simón y Judas?
Is this not the carpenter’s Son? Is His mother not called Mary, and His brothers James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
56 ¿No están todas sus hermanas frente a nosotros? ¿De dónde, pues, [le vinieron] a Éste todas estas cosas?
And His sisters—are they not all with us? From where, then, to this One all these?”
57 Se conturbaban a causa de Él. Pero Jesús les dijo: No hay profeta sin honra sino en su tierra y en su casa.
And they were stumbled at Him. And Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, and in his own house”:
58 Y no hizo allí muchos milagros por causa de la incredulidad de ellos.
and He did not do many mighty works there, because of their unbelief.
