Levítico 1
1 Yavé llamó a Moisés y le habló desde el Tabernáculo de Reunión:
Forsothe the Lord clepide Moyses, and spak to him fro the tabernacle of witnessyng, `and seide,
2 Habla a los hijos de Israel: Cuando alguno de ustedes presente un holocaustoa Yavé, ofrecerá su ofrenda de animales del ganado vacuno o del rebaño.
Speke thou to the sones of Israel, and thou schalt seie to hem, A man of you, that offrith to the Lord a sacrifice of beestis, that is, of oxun and of scheep, and offrith slayn sacrifices, if his offryng is brent sacrifice,
3 Si su ofrenda es un holocausto del ganado vacuno, ofrecerá un macho sin defecto. Lo llevará voluntariamente a la entrada del Tabernáculo de Reunión ante Yavé.
and of the droue of oxun, he schal offre a male beeste without wem at the dore of the tabernacle of witnessyng, to make the Lord plesid to hym.
4 Pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza del animal, y le será aceptado para hacer sacrificio que apacigua por él.
And he schal sette hondis on the heed of the sacrifice, and it schal be acceptable, and profityng in to clensyng of hym.
5 Luego deberá degollar el becerro ante Yavé. Los sacerdotes hijos de Aarón ofrecerán la sangre y la rociarán alrededor sobre el altar situado en la entrada del Tabernáculo de Reunión.
And he schal offre a calf bifor the Lord, and the sones of Aaron, preestis, schulen offre the blood ther of, and thei schulen schede bi the cumpas of the auter, which is bifor the dore of the tabernacle.
6 Después degollará el animal y lo partirá en trozos.
And whanne the skyn of the sacrifice is drawun awei, thei schulen kitte the membris in to gobetis;
7 Los sacerdotes hijos de Aarón encenderán fuego sobre el altar y acomodarán leña sobre el fuego.
and thei schulen put vndur in the auter fier, and thei schulen make an heep of wode bifore; and thei schulen ordeyne aboue
8 Seguidamente los sacerdotes hijos de Aarón dispondrán los trozos, la cabeza y la grasa sobre la leña que está encima del fuego del altar.
`the trees tho thingis that ben kit, that is, the heed, and alle thingis that cleuen to the mawe,
9 Después de lavar en agua sus órganos internos y sus patas, el sacerdote dejará consumir todo sobre el altar. Es un holocausto, un sacrificio quemado de olor que apacigua a Yavé.
whanne the entrailis and feet ben waischid with watir; and the preest schal brenne tho on the auter, in to brent sacrifice, and swete odour to the Lord.
10 Si su ofrenda es del rebaño, de las ovejas o de las cabras para holocausto, ofrecerá un macho sin defecto.
That if the offryng is of litle beestis, a brent sacrifice of scheep, ethir of geet, he schal offre a male beeste with out wem,
11 Lo degollará delante de Yavé sobre el lado norte del altar, y los sacerdotes hijos de Aarón rociarán la sangre de aquél sobre el altar, por todos los lados.
and he schal offre at the side of the auter that biholdith to the north, bifore the Lord. Sotheli the sones of Aaron schulen schede the blood therof on the auter `bi cumpas,
12 Después lo cortarán en trozos, los cuales, con su cabeza y su grasa, el sacerdote pondrá encima de la leña que está sobre el fuego encima del altar.
and thei schulen departe the membris, the heed, and alle thingis that cleuen to the mawe, and thei schulen putte on the trees, vndur whiche the fier schal be set;
13 Los órganos internos y las patas se lavarán en agua. El sacerdote ofrecerá todo y lo dejará consumir sobre el altar. Es un holocausto, sacrificio quemado de olor que apacigua a Yavé.
sotheli thei schulen waische in watir the entrailis and feet; and the preest schal brenne alle thingis offrid on the auter, in to brent sacrifice, and swettest odour to the Lord.
14 Si su ofrenda para Yavé es un holocausto de aves, presentará tórtolas o palominos como ofrenda.
Forsothe if the offryng of brent sacrifice to the Lord is of briddis, of turtlis, and of culuer briddis,
15 El sacerdote la acercará al altar, y de una uñada le cortará la cabeza, la cual dejará consumir sobre el altar. Después exprimirá su sangre sobre la pared del altar,
the preest schal offre it at the auter; and whanne the heed is writhun to the necke, and the place of the wounde is brokun, he schal make the blood renne doun on the brenke of the auter.
16 le quitará el buche y las plumas, y los echará en el lugar de las cenizas por el lado oriental del altar.
Sotheli he schal caste forth the litil bladdir of the throte, and fetheris bisidis the auter, at the eest coost, in the place in which the aischis ben wont to be sched out;
17 La partirá por sus alas, pero no la dividirá en dos. El sacerdote dejará que se consuma sobre el altar encima de la leña, sobre el fuego. Es un holocausto, sacrificio quemado de olor que apacigua a Yavé.
and he schal breke the wyngis therof, and he schal not kerue, nether he schal departe it with yrun; and he schal brenne it on the auter, whanne fier is set vndur the trees; it is a brent sacrifice, and an offryng of swete odour to the Lord.
