Josué 21
1 En aquel tiempo los jefes de las casas paternas de los levitas acudieron al sacerdote Eleazar, a Josué, hijo de Nun, y a los jefes de las tribus de los hijos de Israel.
Then came near the ancestral heads of the Levites, unto Eleazar, the priest, and unto Joshua son of Nun, —and unto the ancestral heads of the tribes, of the sons of Israel;
2 Les hablaron en Silo, en tierra de Canaán: Yavé ordenó por medio de Moisés que se nos den ciudades para vivir, con sus pastizales para nuestros animales.
and spake unto them in Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying: Yahweh himself, commanded, by the hand of Moses, that there should be given unto us cities to dwell in, —with their pasture-lands for our cattle.
3 Entonces, según el mandamiento de Yavé, los hijos de Israel dieron de su heredad a los levitas estas ciudades con sus pastizales.
So the sons of Israel gave unto the Levites, out of their own inheritance, at the bidding of Yahweh, —these cities, with their pasture-lands.
4 La suerte salió para las familias de los coatitas. Estos hijos del sacerdote Aarón, quien fue de los levitas, recibieron 13 ciudades por sorteo de parte de la tribu de Judá, de la tribu de Simeón y de la tribu de Benjamín.
And, when the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites, then had the sons of Aaron the priest, from among the Levites—out of the tribe of Judah and out of the tribe of the Simeonites and out of the tribe of Benjamin—by lot, thirteen cities.
5 El resto de los hijos de Coat recibieron por sorteo diez ciudades de las familias de la tribu de Efraín, de la tribu de Dan y de la media tribu de Manasés.
And, the sons of Kohath that remained, had—out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim and out of the tribe of Dan and out of the half tribe of Manasseh—by lot, ten cities.
6 Los hijos de Gersón recibieron por sorteo de parte de las familias de la tribu de Isacar, de la tribu de Aser, de la tribu de Neftalí y de la media tribu de Manasés, en Basán, 13 ciudades.
And, the sons of Gershon, had—out of families of the tribe of Issachar and out of the tribe of Asher and out of the tribe of Naphtali and out of the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan—by lot, thirteen cities.
7 Los hijos de Merari, según sus familias, recibieron de parte de la tribu de Rubén, la tribu de Gad y la tribu de Zabulón, 12 ciudades.
The sons of Merari, by their families, had—out of the tribe of Reuben and out of the tribe of Gad and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
8 Así, los hijos de Israel dieron por sorteo a los levitas estas ciudades con sus pastizales, como Yavé ordenó por medio de Moisés.
So the sons of Israel gave unto the Levites these cities, with their pasture lands, —as Yahweh commanded, by the hand of Moses, by lot.
9 De la tribu de los hijos de Judá y de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón, les dieron esas ciudades que se mencionan por nombre,
Thus then they gave—out of the tribe of the sons of Judah and out of the tribe of the sons of Simeon—these cities which are mentioned by name.
10 que fueron para una de las familias de los coatitas, de los hijos de Aarón, quien era de los hijos de Leví. Porque la primera suerte fue para ellos,
And the sons of Aaron, from among the sons of Kohath, from among the sons of Levi, had them, —because, theirs, was the first lot;
11 a los cuales dieron Quiriat-arba (Arba fue el padre de Anac, que es Hebrón), en la región montañosa de Judá, con los pastizales en sus alrededores.
yea there was given unto them, the city of Arba, the father of Anak, the same, is Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, —with the pasture land thereof, round about it;
12 Pero le dieron a Caleb, hijo de Jefone, como posesión suya, los campos de la ciudad con sus aldeas.
whereas, the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they unto Caleb son of Jephunneh, as his possession.
13 A los hijos del sacerdote Aarón les dieron Hebrón con sus pastizales como ciudad de refugio para los homicidas, y además, Libná con sus pastizales,
But, unto the sons of Aaron the priest, gave they the city of refuge for the manslayer, even Hebron, with the pasture lands thereof, —Libnah also, with her pasture lands;
14 Jatir con sus pastizales, Estemoa con sus pastizales,
and Jattir with her pasture land, and Eshtemoa with her pasture land;
15 Holón con sus pastizales, Debir con sus pastizales,
and Holon, with her pasture land, and Debir, with her pasture land;
16 Aín con sus pastizales, Juta con sus pastizales y Bet-semes con sus pastizales: nueve ciudades de estas dos tribus.
and Ain, with her pasture land, and Juttah, with her pasture land, Beth-shemesh, with her pasture land, —nine cities, out of these two tribes.
17 De la tribu de Benjamín, Gabaón con sus pastizales, Geba con sus pastizales,
And, out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon, with her pasture land, —Geba, with her pasture land;
18 Anatot con sus pastizales, y Almón con sus pastizales, cuatro ciudades.
Anathoth, with her pasture land, and Almon, with her pasture land, —four cities.
19 El total de las ciudades de los sacerdotes, hijos de Aarón, fue 13, con sus pastizales.
All the cities of the sons of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities, with their pasture lands.
20 Los levitas que quedaban de las familias de los hijos de Coat, recibieron por sorteo unas ciudades de la tribu de Efraín.
And, as for the families of the sons of Kohath, the Levites, which remained of the sons of Kohath, the cities of their lot were out of the tribe of Ephraim.
21 En la región montañosa de Efraín les dieron Siquem como ciudad de refugio para los homicidas, con sus pastizales, Gezer con sus pastizales,
So they gave unto them a city of refuge for the manslayer, even Shechem with her pasture land, in the hill country of Ephraim, —also Gezer, with her pasture land;
22 Quibsaim con sus pastizales y Bet-horón con sus pastizales, cuatro ciudades.
and Kibzaim, with her pasture land, and Beth-horon, with her pasture land, —four cities.
23 De la tribu de Dan, Elteque con sus pastizales, Gibetón con sus pastizales,
And, out of the tribe of Dan, Elteke, with her pasture land, —Gibbethon, with her pasture land;
24 Ajalón con sus pastizales y Gat-rimón con sus pastizales, cuatro ciudades.
Aijalon, with her pasture land, Gath-rimmon, with her pasture land, —four cities.
25 De la media tribu de Manasés, Taanac con sus pastizales y Gat-rimón con sus pastizales, dos ciudades.
And, out of the half tribe of Manasseh, Taanach, with her pasture land, and Gath-rimmon, with her pasture land, —two cities.
26 El total de las ciudades para el resto de las familias de los hijos de Coat fue diez, con sus pastizales:
All the cities, were ten, with their pasture lands: for the families of the sons of Kohath which remained.
27 A los hijos de Gersón, una de las familias de los levitas, les dieron de la media tribu de Manasés a Golán, una de las ciudades de refugio para los homicidas en Basán, con sus pastizales, y a Beestera con sus pastizales, dos ciudades.
And, the sons of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, had, out of the half tribe of Manasseh, a city of refuge for the manslayer, even Golan in Bashan, with her pasture land, and Be-eshterah, with her pasture land, —two cities.
28 De la tribu de Isacar, Cisón con sus pastizales, Daberat con sus pastizales,
And, out of the tribe of Issachar, Kishion, with her pasture land, —Daberath, with her pasture land;
29 Jarmut con sus pastizales y En-ganim con sus pastizales, cuatro ciudades.
Jarmuth, with her pasture land, En-gannim, with her pasture land, —four cities.
30 De la tribu de Aser, Miseal con sus pastizales, Abdón con sus pastizales,
And, out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal, with her pasture land, Abdon, with her pasture land;
31 Helcat con sus pastizales, y Rehob con sus pastizales, cuatro ciudades.
Helkath, with her pasture land, and Rehob, with her pasture land, —four cities.
32 De la tribu de Neftalí, la ciudad de refugio para los homicidas, Cedes, en Galilea, con sus pastizales, Jamot-dor con sus pastizales y Cartán con sus pastizales: tres ciudades.
And, out of the tribe of Naphtali, a city of refuge for the manslayer—even Kedesh in Galilee, with her pasture land, and Hammoth-dor, with her pasture land, and Kartan, with her pasture land, —three cities.
33 El total de las ciudades de los gersonitas, por sus familias, fue 13 ciudades con sus pastizales.
All, the cities of the Gershonites, by their families, were thirteen cities, with their pasture lands.
34 A las familias de los hijos de Merari, los levitas que quedaron, les dieron, de la tribu de Zabulón, Jocneam con sus pastizales, Carta con sus pastizales,
And, unto the families of the sons of Merari, the Levites that remained, out of the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam, with her pasture land, —Kartah, with her pasture land;
35 Dimna con sus pastizales y Nahalal con sus pastizales, cuatro ciudades.
Dimnah, with her pasture land, Nahalal, with her pasture land, —four cities.
36 De la tribu de Rubén, Beser con sus pastizales, Jasa con sus pastizales,
And, out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer, with her pasture land, —and Jahaz, with her pasture land;
37 Cademot con sus pastizales y Mefaat con sus pastizales, cuatro ciudades.
Kedemoth, with her pasture land and Mephaath, with her pasture land, —four cities.
38 De la tribu de Gad, la ciudad de refugio para los homicidas, Ramot en Galaad con sus pastizales, Mahanaim con sus pastizales,
And, out of the tribe of Gad, a city of refuge for the manslayer—even Ramoth in Gilead, with her pasture land, —and Mahanaim, with her pasture land;
39 Hesbón con sus pastizales y Jaser con sus pastizales, cuatro ciudades.
Heshbon, with her pasture land, Jazer, with her pasture land, —in all, four cities.
40 El total de las ciudades que tocaron por suerte a los hijos de Merari, según las familias que quedaban de los levitas, fueron 12.
All the cities for the sons of Merari, by their families, who remained of the families of the Levites, yea their lot was, twelve, cities.
41 Todas las ciudades de los levitas que estaban en medio de la propiedad de los hijos de Israel fueron 48 ciudades con sus pastizales.
All the cities of the Levites, in the midst of the possession of the sons of Israel, were forty-eight cities, with their pasture lands:
42 Cada una de estas ciudades tenía sus pastizales alrededor. Así hicieron con todas estas ciudades.
these cities passed, each severally, with its pasture lands round about it; thus, was it with all these cities.
43 De esta manera Yavé dio a Israel toda la tierra que juró a sus antepasados que les daría. Y ellos la poseyeron y vivieron en ella.
So Yahweh gave unto Israel, all the land which he had sworn to give unto their fathers, —and they took possession thereof, and dwelt therein.
44 Yavé les dio reposo alrededor, según todo lo que juró a sus antepasados. Ninguno de todos sus enemigos pudo hacerles frente, porque Yavé entregó a todos sus enemigos en sus manos.
And Yahweh gave them rest round about, according to all that he had sworn unto their fathers, —and there stood not a man before them, of all their enemies; all their enemies, did Yahweh deliver into their hand.
45 No faltó palabra de todas las buenas cosas que Yavé habló a la casa de Israel. Todo se cumplió.
There failed not a thing, out of all the good things, whereof Yahweh had spoken unto the house of Israel, —the whole, came to pass.
