Josué 11
1 Cuando Jabín, rey de Hazor, oyó esto, envió un mensaje a Jobab, rey de Madón, al de Simrón, al de Acsaf,
And it was when heard Jabin [the] king of Hazor and he sent to Jobab [the] king of Madon and to [the] king of Shimron and to [the] king of Acshaph.
2 a los que estaban en la región montañosa del norte en el Arabá, al sur de Cineret en las llanuras, en las regiones de Dor al occidente,
And to the kings who [were] from [the] north in the hill country and in the Arabah south of Kinnereth and in the Shephelah and on [the] heights of Dor from [the] west.
3 al cananeo que estaba en el oriente, y al occidente, al amorreo, al heteo, al ferezeo, al jebuseo de la región montañosa, y al heveo, al pie de la montaña Hermón en tierra de Mizpa.
The Canaanite[s] from [the] east and from [the] west and the Amorite[s] and the Hittite[s] and the Perizzite[s] and the Jebusite[s] in the hill country and the Hivite[s] under Hermon in [the] land of Mizpah.
4 Entonces ellos salieron con todos sus ejércitos, tanta gente como la arena que está a la orilla del mar, con muchísimos caballos y carruajes de guerra.
And they came out they and all armies their with them a people numerous like the sand which [is] on [the] shore of the sea for multitude and horse[s] and chariot[s] many very.
5 Todos estos reyes convinieron reunirse. Acamparon juntos en las aguas de Merom para pelear contra Israel.
And they gathered all the kings these and they came and they encamped together to [the] water of Merom to wage war with Israel.
6 Entonces Yavé dijo a Josué: No temas a ellos, porque mañana a esta hora Yo los entregaré ante Israel todos muertos. Desjarretarás sus caballos y quemarás al fuego sus carruajes.
And he said Yahweh to Joshua may not you be afraid because of them for tomorrow about the time this I [am] delivering up all of them slain before Israel horses their you will hamstring and chariots their you will burn with fire.
7 Entonces Josué y todo el pueblo de guerra cayeron de repente sobre ellos junto a las aguas de Merom.
And he came Joshua and all [the] people of war with him on them at [the] waters of Merom suddenly and they fell on them.
8 Yavé los entregó en mano de Israel. Los derrotaron y los persiguieron hasta Sidón la Grande, hasta Misrefot-maim y hasta el llano de Mizpa hacia el oriente. Los atacaron hasta no dejarles sobreviviente.
And he gave them Yahweh in [the] hand of Israel and they struck down them and they pursued them to Sidon great and to Misrephoth Maim and to [the] valley of Mizpah east-wards and they struck down them until not he had left to them a survivor.
9 Josué hizo con ellos como Yavé le ordenó: desjarretó sus caballos y quemó sus carruajes con fuego.
And he did to them Joshua just as he had said to him Yahweh horses their he hamstrung and chariots their he burned with fire.
10 En aquel momento Josué regresó y conquistó Hazor. Mató a espada a su rey, pues Hazor fue antiguamente la capital de todos aquellos reinos.
And he turned back Joshua at the time that and he captured Hazor and king its he struck with the sword for Hazor before it [was] [the] head of all the kingdoms these.
11 Mataron a filo de espada a todo lo que tenía vida en ella. La destruyeron por completo, sin que quedara uno que respirara. Incendiaron a Hazor.
And they struck every person who [was] in it to [the] mouth of [the] sword they totally destroyed [them] not it was left any breathing thing and Hazor he burned with fire.
12 Josué capturó todas las ciudades de esos reyes y también a todos ellos. Los pasó a filo de espada. Los destruyó por completo, tal como ordenó Moisés, esclavo de Yavé.
And all [the] cities of the kings these and all kings their he captured Joshua and he struck them to [the] mouth of [the] sword he totally destroyed them just as he had commanded Moses [the] servant of Yahweh.
13 Sin embargo, Israel no incendió ninguna de las ciudades que quedaron en pie sobre las colinas, con la sola excepción de Hazor, la cual Josué quemó.
Only all the cities which were standing on mounds their not it burned them Israel except Hazor to alone it he burned Joshua.
14 Los hijos de Israel tomaron para ellos todo el despojo y los animales de aquellas ciudades, pero mataron a filo de espada a todos los hombres hasta destruirlos, sin dejar alguno con vida.
And all [the] booty of the cities these and the cattle they plundered for themselves [the] people of Israel only every man they struck to [the] mouth of [the] sword until had destroyed they them not they left any breathing thing.
15 Como Yavé ordenó a su esclavo Moisés, y Moisés [lo] ordenó a Josué, así Josué lo hizo sin omitir palabra de todo lo que Yavé ordenó a Moisés.
Just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses servant his so he commanded Moses Joshua and so he did Joshua not he left undone anything from all that he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
16 Josué tomó toda aquella tierra: la región montañosa, todo el Neguev, toda la tierra de Gosén, la llanura, el Arabá, la región montañosa de Israel y sus valles,
And he took Joshua all the land this the hill country and all the Negev and all [the] land of Goshen and the Shephelah and the Arabah and [the] hill country of Israel and Shephelah its.
17 desde la montaña Halac, que sube hacia Seír, hasta Baal-gad en el valle del Líbano, al pie de la montaña Hermón. Capturó a todos sus reyes, los hirió y los mató.
From the mountain Halak which goes up Seir and to Baal Gad in [the] valley of Lebanon under [the] mountain of Hermon and all kings their he captured and he struck them and he killed them.
18 Muchos fueron los días en los cuales Josué hizo guerra contra estos reyes.
Days many he did Joshua with all the kings these battle.
19 Excepto los heveos, que habitaban en Gabaón, no hubo ciudad que hiciera paz con los hijos de Israel. Todo lo tomaron en guerra,
Not it was a city which it made peace to [the] people of Israel except the Hivite[s] [the] inhabitants of Gibeon everything they took in battle.
20 porque esto venía de Yavé: Endurecer el corazón de ellos para que resistieran con guerra a Israel, a fin de que Él los destruyera por completo sin clemencia para que fueran desarraigados, tal como Yavé ordenó a Moisés.
For from with Yahweh - it was to strengthen heart their to meet the battle with Israel so as to totally destroy them to not to belong to them favor for so as to destroy them just as he had commanded Yahweh Moses.
21 En aquel tiempo Josué llegó y destruyó a los anaceos de la región montañosa de Hebrón, de Debir, de Anab, de toda la región montañosa de Judá y de toda la región montañosa de Israel. Josué los destruyó completamente, junto con sus ciudades.
And he came Joshua at the time that and he cut off the Anakites from the hill country from Hebron from Debir from Anab and from all [the] hill country of Judah and from all [the] hill country of Israel with cities their he totally destroyed them Joshua.
22 Ninguno de los anaceos quedó en la tierra de los hijos de Israel. Solo quedaron algunos en Gaza, Gat y Asdod.
Not it was left Anakites in [the] land of [the] people of Israel only in Gaza in Gath and in Ashdod they remained.
23 Josué conquistó toda la tierra, conforme a todo lo que Yavé habló a Moisés. Josué la entregó a Israel como herencia conforme a las divisiones de sus tribus. Y la tierra descansó de la guerra.
And he took Joshua all the land according to all that he had spoken Yahweh to Moses and he gave it Joshua to an inheritance to Israel according to divisions their to tribes their and the land it was at peace from war.
