1 Tres días después se celebró una boda en Caná de Galilea, y la madre de Jesús estaba allí.
And, on the third day, a marriage, took place, in Cana, of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there, —
2 Jesús y sus discípulos también fueron invitados a la boda.
and Jesus also was invited, with his disciples, unto the marriage.
3 Cuando se acabó el vino, la madre de Jesús le dijo: No tienen vino.
And, wine falling short, the mother of Jesus saith unto him—Wine, have they none!
4 Jesús le respondió: Mujer, ¿qué [nos toca] a Mí y a ti? Aún no [llega ] mi hora.
And Jesus saith unto her—What part can I take with thee, O woman? Not yet, hath come, mine hour.
5 Su madre dijo a los que servían: Hagan lo que [Él] les diga.
His mother saith unto them who are ministering—Whatsoever he may say to you, do!
6 Estaban allí colocadas seis tinajas de piedra con agua que usaban para purificarse. Cada una tenía capacidad como para cien litros.
Now there were there, six stone water-vessels, placed, according to the purification of the Jews; holding each, two or three measures.
7 Jesús les mandó: Llenen las tinajas de agua. Y las llenaron hasta el borde.
Jesus saith unto them—Fill the vessels with water. And they filled them up to the brim.
8 También les dijo: Ahora saquen agua y lleven al director de la fiesta. Y se la llevaron.
And he saith unto them—Draw out now, and be bearing unto the master of the feast. And they bare.
9 Cuando el director de la fiesta probó el agua convertida en vino sin saber de donde salió, aunque los servidores lo sabían, llamó al esposo
And, when the master of the feast had tasted the water, now made, wine, and knew not whence it was, —though, they who were ministering, knew, even they who had drawn out the water, the master accosteth the bridegroom,
10 y le dijo: Todo hombre sirve primero el buen vino, y cuando estén embriagados, el inferior. Pero tú guardaste el buen vino hasta ahora.
and saith unto him—Every man, first the good wine, setteth out; and, when they had been well-supplied, the inferior: —Thou, hast kept the good wine until, even now.
11 Jesús realizó este primer milagro en Caná de Galilea, donde manifestó su gloria, y sus discípulos creyeron en Él.
This, beginning of his signs, did Jesus, in Cana of Galilee, and manifested his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
12 Después de esto Él descendió a Cafarnaúm con su madre, [sus] hermanos y sus discípulos. Permanecieron allí pocos días.
After this, he came down into Capernaum, —he, and his mother and brethren, and his disciples; and, there, they abode, not many days.
13 Cuando se acercaba la Pascua de los judíos, Jesús subió a Jerusalén.
And, near, was the passover of the Jews; and, Jesus, went up unto Jerusalem.
14 Encontró en el Templo a los que vendían bueyes, ovejas y palomas, y a los cambistas sentados.
And he found, in the temple, them that were selling oxen and sheep and doves, also the money-changers sitting.
15 Después de arreglar un azote de cuerdas, echó a todos del Templo, y también las ovejas y los bueyes. Desparramó la moneda de los cambistas, volcó las mesas
And, making a scourge out of rushes, all of them, thrust he forth out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and, the money-changers’ small coins, poured he forth, and, the tables, he overturned;
16 y dijo a los que vendían palomas: ¡Quiten éstas de aquí! ¡No conviertan la Casa de mi Padre en casa de mercado!
and unto them who were selling, the doves, he said—Take these things hence! Be not making, the house of my Father, a house of merchandise.
17 Recordaron sus discípulos que está escrito: El celo de tu Casa me consumirá.
His disciples remembered that it was written—The zeal of thy house, eateth me up.
18 Los judíos intervinieron: Ya que haces estas cosas, ¿qué señal nos muestras?
The Jews therefore answered, and said unto him, What sign, dost thou point out to us, in that, these things, thou doest?
19 Jesús respondió: Destruyan este Templo y en tres días lo levantaré.
Jesus answered, and said unto them—Take down this shrine, and, in three days, will I raise it.
20 Los judíos dijeron: Este Templo fue edificado durante 46 años, ¿y Tú lo levantarás en tres días?
The Jews, therefore, said—In forty and six years, was this shrine built. And, thou, in three days, wilt raise it!
21 Pero Él hablaba del Templo de su cuerpo.
But, he, was speaking concerning the shrine of his body.
22 Cuando [Él] fue resucitado de entre [los] muertos, sus discípulos recordaron que dijo esto y creyeron en la Escritura y en la Palabra de Jesús.
When, therefore, he had been raised from among the dead, his disciples remembered, that, this, he had been saying; and they believed in the Scripture, and in the word which Jesus had spoken.
23 Mientras [Jesús] estaba en Jerusalén en la fiesta de la Pascua, muchos creyeron en su Nombre cuando vieron las señales que hacía.
Now, when he was in Jerusalem, during the passover, during the feast, many, believed on his name, viewing his signs which he was doing.
24 Pero Jesús no confiaba en ellos porque conocía a todos.
Jesus himself, however, was not trusting himself unto them, by reason of his understanding them all,
25 No tenía necesidad de que alguien le diera testimonio acerca del hombre, porque sabía [lo] que había en él.
and because he had, no need, that anyone should bear witness concerning man; for, he, understood what was in man.
