Jeremías 28

1 En aquel mismo año, al principio del reinado de Sedequías, en el quinto mes del año cuarto, aconteció que Hananías, hijo de Azur, quien era profeta de Gabaón, me habló en la Casa de Yavé en presencia de los sacerdotes y de todo el pueblo:

And it was don in that yeer, in the bigynnyng of the rewme of Sedechie, kyng of Juda, in the fourthe yeer, in the fyuethe monethe, Ananye, the sone of Azur, a profete of Gabaon, seide to me in the hous of the Lord, bifor the preestis, and al the puple,

2 Yavé de las huestes, ʼElohim de Israel, habló: ¡Quiebro el yugo del rey de Babilonia!

`and seide, The Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis, Y haue al to-broke the yok of the kyng of Babiloyne.

3 Dentro de dos años devolveré a este lugar todos los utensilios de la Casa de Yavé, que Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, tomó de este lugar y los llevó a Babilonia.

Yit twei yeeris of daies ben, and Y schal make to be brouyt ayen to this place alle the vessels of the Lord, whiche Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, took fro this place, and translatide tho in to Babiloyne.

4 Jeconías, hijo de Joacim, rey de Judá, regresará a este lugar y todos los exiliados de Judá que fueron a Babilonia, dice Yavé, porque quebraré el yugo del rey de Babilonia.

And Y schal turne to this place, seith the Lord, Jeconye, the sone of Joachym, the kyng of Juda, and al the passyng ouer of Juda, that entriden in to Babiloyne; for Y schal al to-breke the yok of the kyng of Babiloyne.

5 Entonces el profeta Jeremías respondió al profeta Hananías en presencia de los sacerdotes y de todo pueblo que estaba en pie en la Casa de Yavé.

And Jeremye, the profete, seide to Ananye, the profete, bifore the iyen of preestis, and bifore the iyen of al the puple that stoden in the hous of the Lord.

6 Y el profeta Jeremías dijo: ¡Amén, así lo haga Yavé! ¡Cumpla Yavé tu profecía y devuelva los utensilios de la Casa de Yavé y todos los cautivos de Babilonia a este lugar!

And Jeremye, the profete, seide to Ananye, Amen! so do the Lord; the Lord reise thi wordis whiche thou profesiedist, that the vessels be brouyt ayen in to the hous of the Lord, and al the passyng ouer fro Babiloyne, to this place.

7 Sin embargo, escucha ahora esta palabra que yo hablo a tus oídos y a oídos de todo el pueblo:

Netheles here thou this word, which Y speke in thin eeris, and in the eeris of al the puple.

8 Los profetas que llegaron antes de ti y antes de mí, desde antaño profetizaron contra muchas tierras y contra grandes reinos, sobre guerra, calamidad y pestilencia.

Profetis that weren bifore me, and bifor thee, fro the bigynnyng, and profesieden on many londis, and on many rewmes, of batel, and of turment, and of hungur.

9 El profeta que profetiza paz, cuando se cumpla la palabra de ese profeta, será reconocido como uno que en verdad envió Yavé.

The profete that profesiede pees, whanne his word cometh, shal be knowun the profete whom the Lord sente in treuthe.

10 Entonces el profeta Hananías quitó el yugo de la nuca del profeta Jeremías, y lo quebró.

And Ananye, the profete, took the chayne fro the necke of Jeremye, the profete, and brak it.

11 Hananías habló en presencia de todo el pueblo: Yavé dice: Dentro de dos años quebraré el yugo de Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, que llevan en la nuca tantas naciones. Y Jeremías siguió su camino.

And Ananye, the profete, seide in the siyt of al the puple, `and seide, The Lord seith these thingis, So Y schal breke the yok of Nabugodonosor, kyng of Babiloyne, aftir twei yeeris of daies, fro the necke of alle folkis.

12 Después que el profeta Hananías rompió el yugo que tenía el profeta Jeremías en su nuca, la Palabra de Yavé vino a Jeremías:

And Jeremye, the profete, yede in to his weie. And the word of the Lord was maad to Jeremye, aftir that Ananye, the profete, brak the chayne fro the necke of Jeremye; and the Lord seide,

13 Vé, habla a Hananías: Yavé dice: ¡Yugos de madera quebraste, pero en lugar de ellos harás yugos de hierro!

Go thou, and seie to Ananye, The Lord seith these thingis, Thou hast al to-broke the chaynes of tre, and thou schalt make yrun chaynes for tho.

14 Porque Yavé de las huestes, ʼElohim de Israel, dice: Yo puse un yugo de hierro sobre la nuca de todas estas naciones para que sirvan a Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, y ellas le servirán. También le di los animales del campo.

For the Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis, Y haue set an yrun yok on the necke of alle these folkis, that thei serue Nabugodonosor, the king of Babiloyne, and thei schulen serue hym; ferthermore and Y yaf to hym the beestis of erthe.

15 Entonces el profeta Jeremías dijo al profeta Hananías: ¡Escucha ahora, oh Hananías! Yavé no te envió, y tú quieres que este pueblo confíe en la mentira.

And Jeremye, the profete, seide to Ananye, the profete, Ananye, here thou; the Lord sente not thee, and thou madist this puple for to triste in a leesyng.

16 Por tanto Yavé dice: Ciertamente Yo te quito de sobre la superficie de la tierra. Morirás este año, porque hablaste rebelión contra Yavé.

Therfor the Lord seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal sende thee out fro the face of erthe; in this yeer thou schalt die, for thou spakest ayens the Lord.

17 El mes séptimo del mismo año Hananías murió.

And Ananye, the profete, diede in that yeer, in the seuenthe monethe.
