Isaías 7
1 Aconteció en los días de Acaz, hijo de Jotam, hijo de Uzías, rey de Judá, que Rezín, rey de Siria, y Peca, hijo de Remalías, rey de Israel, subieron a Jerusalén para combatirla, pero no pudieron conquistarla.
And it was don in the daies of Achas, the sone of Joathan, the sone of Osias, kyng of Juda, Rasyn, the kyng of Sirie, and Facee, the sone of Romelie, the kyng of Israel, stieden to Jerusalem, for to fiyte ayens it; and thei myyten not ouercome it.
2 Llegó noticia a la casa de David: Siria se confederó con Efraín. Como se estremecen los árboles del bosque con el viento, se estremeció su corazón y el corazón del pueblo.
And thei telden to the hous of Dauid, and seiden, Sirie hath restid on Effraym, and the herte of hym and of his puple was mouyd togidere, as the trees of wodis ben mouyd of the face of the wynd.
3 Entonces Yavé dijo a Isaías: Sal ahora con tu hijo Sear-jasub a encontrarte con Acaz al extremo del canal del Estanque de Arriba, en el camino del Campo del Lavador, y dile:
And the Lord seide to Isaie, Go thou out, and Jasub, thi sone, which is left, in to the meetyng of Achas, at the laste ende of the water cundijt of the hiyere cisterne, in the weie of the feeld of the fullere.
4 Ten cuidado y calma. No temas, ni te acobardes ante esos dos tizones humeantes, ante el ardor de la ira de Rezín, de Siria y del hijo de Remalías.
And thou schalt seie to hym, Se thou, that thou be stille; nyle thou drede, and thin herte be not aferd of twei tailis of these brondis smokynge in the wraththe of woodnesse, of Rasyn, kynge of Sirie, and of the sone of Romelye.
5 Pues aunque Siria trame tu ruina junto con Efraín, y el hijo de Remalías dijo:
For Sirie, and Effraym, and the sone of Romelie, han bigunne yuel councel ayens thee, and seien, Stie we to Juda,
6 Subamos contra Judá y aterroricémosla. Abramos una brecha en ella, y pongamos como rey al hijo de Tabeel.
and reise we hym, and drawe we hym out to vs; and sette we a kyng in the myddis therof, the sone of Tabeel.
7 ʼAdonay Yavé dice: No se cumplirá ni sucederá.
The Lord God seith these thingis, This schal not be, and it schal not stonde;
8 Porque Damasco es la capital de Siria, Rezín, el jefe de Damasco.
but Damask schal be the heed of Sirie, and Rasyn `schal be the heed of Damask; and yit sixti yeer and fiue, and Effraym schal faile to be a puple;
9 Samaria es la capital de Efraín, y el hijo de Remalías, jefe de Samaria. Dentro de 65 años, Efraín será quebrantado y dejará de ser pueblo. Si ustedes no creen, ciertamente no permanecerán.
and Samarie shal faile to be the heed of Effraym, and the sone of Romelie `schal faile to be heed of Samarie. Forsothe if ye schulen not bileue, ye schulen not dwelle.
10 Yavé volvió a hablar a Acaz:
And the Lord addide to speke to Achas,
and seide, Axe thou to thee a signe of thi Lord God, in to the depthe of helle, ethir in to heiythe aboue. (Sheol h7585)
12 Pero Acaz respondió: ¡No pediré ni tentaré a Yavé!
And Achas seide, Y schal not axe, and Y schal not tempte the Lord.
13 Entonces Isaías dijo: Escucha ahora, casa de David: ¿Les es poco el ser molestos a los hombres, para que también lo sean a mi ʼElohim?
And Ysaie seide, Therfor the hous of Dauid, here ye; whether it is litil to you to be diseseful to men, for ye ben diseseful also to my God?
14 Por tanto, ʼAdonay mismo les dará la señal: Ciertamente la virgen concebirá y dará a luz un Hijo, y llamará su Nombre Emanuel.
For this thing the Lord hym silf schal yyue a signe to you. Lo! a virgyn schal conseyue, and schal bere a sone; and his name schal be clepid Emanuel.
15 Comerá leche cuajada y miel hasta que sepa rechazar lo malo y escoger lo bueno.
He schal ete botere and hony, that he kunne repreue yuel, and cheese good.
16 Porque antes que el niño sepa rechazar lo malo y escoger lo bueno, la tierra será abandonada por los dos reyes a quienes tú temes.
For whi bifore that the child kunne repreue yuel, and chese good, the lond, which thou wlatist, schal be forsakun of the face of her twei kyngis.
17 Yavé traerá sobre ti, sobre tu pueblo y sobre la casa de tu padre días como nunca vinieron desde cuando Efraín se separó de Judá, esto es, al rey de Asiria.
The Lord schal brynge on thee, and on thi puple, and on the hous of thi fadir, daies that camen not fro the daies of departyng of Effraym fro Juda, with the kyng of Assiriens.
18 Aquel día Yavé silbará al tábano que está en el confín de los ríos de Egipto y a la abeja que está en la tierra de Asiria,
And it schal be, in that dai the Lord schal hisse to a flie, which is in the laste parte of the floodis of Egipt; and to a bee, which is in the lond of Assur;
19 y vendrán. Todos ellos se posarán sobre las quebradas escarpadas en las hendiduras de las peñas, en todo matorral espinoso y en todas las corrientes de agua.
and `alle so schulen come, and schulen reste in the strondis of valeis, and in caues of stoonis, and in alle places of buyschis, and in alle hoolis.
20 Aquel día ʼAdonay rasurará la cabeza y el pelo de las piernas con una navaja alquilada de los que viven al otro lado del río, esto es, con el rey de Asiria. También quitará la barba.
And in that dai the Lord schal schaue with a scharp rasour in these men, that ben biyendis the flood, in the kyng of Assiriens, the heed, and heeris of the feet, and al the beerd.
21 Acontecerá en aquel tiempo que un hombre criará una vaca y dos ovejas.
And it schal be, in that day a man schal nurische a cow of oxis, and twei scheep,
22 Por la abundancia de leche comerá leche cuajada, porque todo el que quede en la tierra comerá cuajada y miel.
and for the plentee of mylk he schal ete botere; for whi ech man that schal be left in the myddis of the lond, schal ete boter and hony.
23 Aquel día, en un terreno donde había 1.000 vides, que en otro tiempo valían 11 kilogramos de plata, habrá zarzas y espinos.
And it schal be, in that dai ech place where a thousand vyneris schulen be worth a thousynde platis of siluer, and schulen be in to thornes and breeris,
24 Tendrán que entrar en él con flechas y arco, porque toda la tierra estará llena de espinos y cardos.
men schulen entre thidur with bouwis and arowis; for whi breris and thornes schulen be in al the lond.
25 En ninguna de las praderas que hoy se labran con la azada se podrá entrar por temor a las zarzas y a los espinos. Serán pasto de ganado vacuno para ser pisoteadas por el ganado.
And alle hillis that schulen be purgid with a sarpe, the drede of thornes and of breris schal not come thidir; and it schal be in to lesewe of oxen, and in to treding of scheep.
