Isaías 4

1 En aquel tiempo siete mujeres echarán mano a un hombre y le dirán: Nosotras comeremos nuestro pan y vestiremos nuestras ropas. Solamente permítenos llevar tu nombre. Quita nuestro oprobio.

And seven women shall take hold of one man in that day, saving, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name; take thou away our reproach.

2 Aquel día el Renuevo de Yavé será espléndido y glorioso. El fruto de la tierra excelente y hermoso para los salvados de Israel.

In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.

3 Sucederá que los que queden en Sion, los que sean dejados en Jerusalén, serán llamados santos, los inscritos entre los vivos en Jerusalén.

And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem:

4 Cuando ʼAdonay lave la suciedad de las hijas de Sion y limpie la sangre derramada dentro de Jerusalén con un viento justiciero, con soplo devastador,

when the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof, by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.

5 Yavé creará una nube de humo de día y un fuego llameante de noche por encima de toda morada en la Montaña Sion y de sus asambleas, porque sobre todo habrá una cubierta de gloria.

And the LORD will create over the whole habitation of mount Zion, and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night: for over all the glory [shall be spread] a canopy.

6 Habrá una cubierta para dar sombra contra el calor del día, refugio y escondedero de la tormenta, protección de la tormenta, de la inundación y del aguacero.

And there shall be a pavilion for a shadow in the day-time from the heat, and for a refuge and for a covert from storm and from rain.
