Oseas 3

1 Yavé me dijo: Vé otra vez, ama a una mujer amada por su esposo, aunque adúltera, tal como Yavé ama a los hijos de Israel, aunque siguen a ʼelohim extraños y aman las tortas de uvas pasas.

Then said the LORD to me, Go yet, love a woman beloved by [her] friend, yet an adulteress, according to the love of the LORD towards the children of Israel, who look to other gods, and love flagons of wine.

2 La compré para mí por 165 piezas de plata y 230 litros de cebada.

So I bought her to me for fifteen [pieces] of silver, and [for] a homer of barley, and a half homer of barley:

3 Y le dije: Muchos días estarás conmigo. No te prostituirás ni aceptarás a otro hombre. Lo mismo haré yo contigo.

And I said to her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for [another] man: so [will] I also [be] for thee.

4 Porque muchos días estarán los hijos de Israel, sin rey y sin caudillo, sin sacrificio y sin columna, sin efod y las pequeñas imágenes que usan como ídolos domésticos.

For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and [without] teraphim:

5 Después volverán los hijos de Israel y buscarán a Yavé su ʼElohim y a David su rey. Acudirán temblorosos a Yavé y a su bondad en los últimos días.

Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the LORD their God, and David their king; and shall fear the LORD and his goodness in the latter days.
