Oseas 1

1 La Palabra de Yavé que vino a Oseas, hijo de Beeri, en los días de Uzías, Jotam, Acaz y Ezequías, reyes de Judá, y en los días de Jeroboam, hijo de Joás, rey de Israel.

[the] word of Yahweh - which it came to Hosea [the] son of Beeri in [the] days of Uzziah Jotham Ahaz Hezekiah [the] kings of Judah and in [the] days of Jeroboam [the] son of Joash [the] king of Israel.

2 Cuando Yavé comenzó a hablar por medio de Oseas le dijo: Vé, toma para ti una mujer prostituta y engendra hijos de prostitución, porque la tierra se prostituye totalmente y se aparta de Yavé.

[the] beginning [when] he spoke Yahweh by Hosea. And he said Yahweh to Hosea go take for yourself a wife of prostitution and children of prostitution for continually it prostitutes itself the land from after Yahweh.

3 Fue, pues, y tomó a Gomer, hija de Diblaim, la cual concibió y le dio a luz un hijo.

And he went and he took Gomer [the] daughter of Diblaim and she conceived and she bore to him a son.

4 Yavé le dijo: Llámalo Jezreel, porque muy pronto castigaré la casa de Jehú por la sangre derramada en Jezreel, y eliminaré el reino de la Casa de Israel.

And he said Yahweh to him call name his Jezreel for yet a little and I will visit [the] blood of Jezreel on [the] house of Jehu and I will put an end to [the] kingdom of [the] house of Israel.

5 Sucederá que aquel día quebraré el arco de Israel en el valle de Jezreel.

And it will be on the day that and I will break [the] bow of Israel in [the] valley of Jezreel.

6 Otra vez concibió y dio a luz una hija. Y Yavé le dijo: Llámala Lo-ruhama, porque ya no me compadeceré de la Casa de Israel para perdonarlos.

And she conceived again and she bore a daughter and he said to him call name her Lo-Ruhamah for not I will repeat again I will have compassion on [the] house of Israel that certainly I will forgive them.

7 Pero tendré compasión de la Casa de Judá y los salvaré por Yavé, su ʼElohim. No los libraré con arco, ni con espada, ni con batalla, ni con caballos, ni con jinetes.

And [the] house of Judah I will have compassion on and I will save them by Yahweh God their and not I will save them by bow and by sword and by battle by horses and by horsemen.

8 Después de destetar a Lo-ruhama, concibió y dio a luz un hijo.

And she weaned Lo-Ruhamah and she conceived and she bore a son.

9 Yavé dijo: Llámalo Lo-ammi, porque ustedes no son mi pueblo ni Yo seré para ustedes su [ʼElohim].

And he said call name his Lo-Ammi for you not [are] people my and I not I will belong to you.

10 Sin embargo, el número de los hijos de Israel será como la arena del mar, que no se puede medir ni contar. Y en el lugar donde les fue dicho: Ustedes no son mi pueblo, se les dirá: Son hijos del ʼEL que vive.

And it will be [the] number of [the] people of Israel like [the] sand of the sea which not it will be measured and not it will be counted and it will be in [the] place where it was said to them not [are] people my you it will be said to them children of [the] God living.

11 Los hijos de Judá y de Israel se unirán y designarán un solo caudillo. Subirán de la tierra, porque grande es el día de Jezreel.

And they will be gathered [the] people of Judah and [the] people of Israel together and they will appoint for themselves a chief one and they will go up from the land for [will be] great [the] day of Jezreel.
