Génesis 46
1 Israel salió con todo lo que tenía. Fue a Beerseba y ofreció sacrificios al ʼElohim de su padre Isaac.
And Israel journeys, and all that he has, and comes to Beer-Sheba, and sacrifices sacrifices to the God of his father Isaac;
2 Y ʼElohim habló a Israel en visiones de noche: ¡Jacob! ¡Jacob! Y él respondió: Aquí estoy.
and God speaks to Israel in visions of the night and says, “Jacob, Jacob”; and he says, “Here I [am].”
3 Entonces le dijo: Yo soy ʼEL, el ʼElohim de tu padre. No temas bajar a Egipto, porque allí te convertiré en una gran nación.
And He says, “I [am] God, God of your father, do not be afraid of going down to Egypt, for I set you there for a great nation;
4 Yo descenderé contigo a Egipto y ciertamente Yo también te haré subir, y la mano de José cerrará tus ojos.
I go down with you to Egypt, and I also certainly bring you up, and Joseph puts his hand on your eyes.”
5 Jacob de Beerseba se levantó, y los hijos de Israel hicieron subir a su padre Jacob, a sus pequeños y a sus esposas en las carrozas que Faraón envió para que lo llevaran.
And Jacob rises from Beer-Sheba, and the sons of Israel carry away their father Jacob, and their infants, and their wives, in the wagons which Pharaoh has sent to carry him,
6 También tomaron sus ganados y las pertenencias que adquirieron en la tierra de Canaán. Jacob y toda su descendencia fueron a Egipto,
and they take their livestock, and their goods which they have acquired in the land of Canaan, and come into Egypt—Jacob, and all his seed with him,
7 sus hijos y nietos, sus hijas y nietas. Llevó consigo toda su descendencia a Egipto.
his sons, and his sons’ sons with him, his daughters, and his sons’ daughters, indeed, all his seed he brought with him into Egypt.
8 Estos son los nombres de los hijos de Israel que entraron en Egipto: Jacob y sus hijos: Rubén, el primogénito de Jacob.
And these [are] the names of the sons of Israel who are coming into Egypt: Jacob and his sons, Jacob’s firstborn, Reuben.
9 Los hijos de Rubén: Hanoc, Falú, Hezrón y Carmi.
And sons of Reuben: Enoch, and Phallu, and Hezron, and Carmi.
10 Los hijos de Simeón: Jemuel, Jamín, Ohad, Jaquín, Zohar y Saúl, hijo de la cananea.
And sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul son of the Canaanite.
11 Los hijos de Leví: Gersón, Coat y Merari.
And sons of Levi: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
12 Los hijos de Judá: Er, Onán y Sela, Fares y Zara, (pero Er y Onán murieron en la tierra de Canaán). Los hijos de Fares fueron Hezrón y Hamul.
And sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Perez, and Zerah (and Er and Onan die in the land of Canaan). And sons of Perez are Hezron and Hamul.
13 Los hijos de Isacar: Tola, Fúa, Job y Simrón.
And sons of Issachar: Tola, and Phuvah, and Job, and Shimron.
14 Los hijos de Zabulón: Sered, Elón y Jahleel.
And sons of Zebulun: Sered, and Elon, and Jahleel.
15 Estos fueron los hijos de Lea, los que ella le dio a luz a Jacob en Padan-aram, además de su hija Dina. El total de personas de sus hijos e hijas fue 33.
These [are] sons of Leah whom she bore to Jacob in Padan-Aram, and his daughter Dinah; all the persons of his sons and his daughters [are] thirty-three.
16 Los hijos de Gad: Zifión, Hagui, Suni, Ezbón, Heri, Arodi y Areli.
And sons of Gad: Ziphion, and Haggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli.
17 Los hijos de Aser: Imna, Isúa, Isúi, Bería y Sera, hermana de ellos. Los hijos de Bería: Heber y Malquiel.
And sons of Asher: Jimnah, and Ishuah, and Isui, and Beriah, and their sister Serah. And sons of Beriah: Heber and Malchiel.
18 Estos fueron los hijos de Zilpa, la esclava que Labán dio a su hija Lea, y le dio a luz éstos a Jacob: 16 personas.
These [are] sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to his daughter Leah, and she bears these to Jacob—sixteen persons.
19 Hijos de Raquel, esposa de Jacob: José y Benjamín.
Sons of Rachel, Jacob’s wife: Joseph and Benjamin.
20 A José, en la tierra de Egipto, le nacieron Manasés y Efraín, los cuales Asenat, hija de Potifera, sacerdote de On, le dio a luz.
And born to Joseph in the land of Egypt (whom Asenath daughter of Poti-Pherah, priest of On, has borne to him) [are] Manasseh and Ephraim.
21 Los hijos de Benjamín fueron Bela, Bequer, Asbel, Gera, Naamán, Ehi, Ros, Mupim, Hupim y Ard.
And sons of Benjamin: Belah, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard.
22 Estos fueron los hijos de Raquel que le nacieron a Jacob: 14 personas en total.
These [are] sons of Rachel, who were born to Jacob; all the persons [are] fourteen.
23 Hijo de Dan: Husim.
And sons of Dan: Hushim.
24 Los hijos de Neftalí: Jahzeel, Guni, Jezer y Silem.
And sons of Naphtali: Jahzeel, and Guni, and Jezer, and Shillem.
25 Estos fueron los hijos de Bilha, la esclava que Labán dio a Raquel su hija, y ella dio a luz éstos a Jacob: siete personas en total.
These [are] sons of Bilhah, whom Laban gave to his daughter Rachel; and she bears these to Jacob—all the persons [are] seven.
26 Todas las personas que fueron con Jacob a Egipto, sus descendientes directos, sin contar las esposas de los hijos de Jacob fueron 66.
All the persons who are coming to Jacob to Egypt, coming out of his thigh, apart from the wives of Jacob’s sons, all the persons [are] sixty-six.
27 Los hijos de José que le nacieron en Egipto, dos personas. Todas las personas de la casa de Jacob que entraron en Egipto fueron 70.
And the sons of Joseph who have been born to him in Egypt [are] two persons. All the persons of the house of Jacob who are coming into Egypt [are] seventy.
28 Jacob envió a Judá delante de él a la casa de José para que preparara el camino a Gosén. Cuando entraron en la tierra de Gosén,
And Judah he has sent before him to Joseph, to direct before him to Goshen, and they come into the land of Goshen;
29 José preparó su carroza y subió a Gosén a recibir a su padre Israel. Se presentó a él, y al echarse sobre su cuello lo abrazó y lloró largamente.
and Joseph harnesses his chariot, and goes up to meet his father Israel, to Goshen, and appears to him, and falls on his neck, and weeps on his neck again;
30 Entonces Israel dijo a José: Ahora, que muera yo, después de ver tu rostro, porque tú aún vives.
and Israel says to Joseph, “Let me die this time, after my seeing your face, for you [are] yet alive.”
31 José dijo a sus hermanos y a la familia de su padre: Subiré a Faraón y le diré: Mis hermanos y la familia de mi padre que estaban en la tierra de Canaán vinieron a mí.
And Joseph says to his brothers, and to the house of his father, “I go up, and declare to Pharaoh, and say to him, My brothers, and the house of my father who [are] in the land of Canaan have come to me;
32 Son pastores de ovejas que cuidan el ganado. Trajeron sus rebaños, sus manadas de ganado vacuno y todas sus pertenencias.
and the men [are] feeders of a flock, for they have been men of livestock; and their flock, and their herd, and all that they have, they have brought.
33 Cuando Faraón los llame y les pregunte: ¿Cuál es su oficio?
And it has come to pass, when Pharaoh calls for you and has said, What [are] your works?
34 Ustedes responderán: Tus esclavos somos pastores desde nuestra juventud hasta ahora, tanto nosotros como nuestros antepasados. [Digan] esto a fin de que vivan en la tierra de Gosén, porque todo pastor de ovejas es repugnancia para los egipcios.
That you have said, Your servants have been men of livestock from our youth, even until now, both we and our fathers, in order that you may dwell in the land of Goshen, for the abomination of the Egyptians is everyone feeding a flock.”
