Ezequiel 39

1 Tú pues, hijo de hombre, profetiza contra Gog: ʼAdonay Yavé dice: Aquí estoy contra ti, oh príncipe soberano de Mesec y Tubal.

But thou, O son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I will be against thee O Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech and Thubal;

2 Te rodearé y te conduciré. Subirás de las partes lejanas del norte. Te traeré contra las montañas de Israel.

And I will derange thee, and lead thee astray, and will cause thee to come up from the farthest ends of the north; and I will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel;

3 Sacaré tu arco de tu mano izquierda y tumbaré las flechas de tu mano derecha.

And I will strike thy bow out of thy left hand, and thy arrows will I cause to fall out of thy right hand.

4 Tú, todas tus tropas y los pueblos que están contigo caerán sobre las montañas de Israel. Te daré como presa a toda clase de aves de rapiña y a las fieras del campo.

Upon the mountains of Israel shalt thou fall, thou, and all thy armies, and the people that are with thee: unto the ravenous birds, to every thing that hath wings, and to the beasts of the field, do I give thee for food.

5 Caerás sobre la superficie del campo, porque Yo hablé, dice ʼAdonay Yavé.

Upon the open field shalt thou fall; for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Eternal.

6 Enviaré fuego sobre Magog, y los que habitan con seguridad en las costas. Y sabrán que Yo soy Yavé.

And I will send a fire against Magog, and against those that dwell in the isles in safety: and they shall know that I am the Lord.

7 Proclamaré mi santo Nombre en medio de mi pueblo Israel. No dejaré que mi santo Nombre sea profanado. Sabrán las naciones que Yo soy Yavé, el Santo de Israel.

And my holy name will I make known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not permit my holy name to be profaned any more: and the nations shall know that I am the Lord, Holy in Israel.

8 Ciertamente viene, y se cumplirá, dice ʼAdonay Yavé. Éste es el día del cual hablé.

Behold, it cometh, and it taketh place, saith the Lord Eternal; this is the day whereof I have spoken.

9 Entonces los habitantes de las ciudades de Israel saldrán. Encenderán fuego y quemarán armas, escudos de defensa y escudos oblongos que cubren casi todo el cuerpo, arcos y flechas, armas arrojadizas de mano y lanzas. Los quemarán en el fuego durante siete años.

And the inhabitants of the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall burn and make fire for heating of the weapons, and shields and bucklers, of bows and of arrows, and of hand-staves, and of spears; and they shall feed with them the fire for seven years;

10 No tomarán leña del campo, ni cortarán leña de los bosques, sino quemarán las armas en el fuego. Despojarán a sus despojadores y saquearán a los que los saquearon, dice ʼAdonay Yavé.

And they shall take no wood out of the field, nor cut down any out of the forests; for with weapons shall they feed the fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and plunder those that plundered them, saith the Lord Eternal.

11 En aquel día Yo daré a Gog un terreno para sepultura allí en Israel: el valle de los que pasan al oriente del mar, el cual obstruirá el paso a los transeúntes, pues allí enterrarán a Gog y a toda su tropa. Lo llamarán El Valle de la Multitud de Gog.

And it shall come to pass on that day, that I will give unto Gog a place there for a grave in Israel, the valley where people pass over to the east of the sea; and it shall stop the passengers [from passing]: and they shall bury there Gog and all his multitude, and they shall call it The valley of the multitude of Gog.

12 La Casa de Israel los enterrará durante siete meses para purificar la tierra.

And the house of Israel shall be burying them, in order to cleanse the land, during seven months.

13 Todo el pueblo de la tierra los enterrará. Por ello tendrá fama el día cuando Yo sea glorificado, dice ʼAdonay Yavé.

Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them as a renown on the day that I glorify myself, saith the Lord Eternal.

14 Contratarán jornaleros que vayan por la tierra con los que viajan para enterrar a los que queden sobre la superficie de la tierra, a fin de purificarla. Después de siete meses harán el reconocimiento.

And men constantly devoted to this shall they set apart to pass through the land, to bury with those that pass through those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it; at the end of seven months shall they make a search.

15 Cuando los que pasen por la tierra vean algún hueso de hombre, pondrán una señal junto a él hasta que los sepultureros lo sepulten en El Valle de la Multitud de Gog.

And those that thus travel will pass through the land; and when any one seeth a human bone, then will he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of the multitude of Gog.

16 También el nombre de la ciudad será El Valle de la Multitud. De este modo la tierra será purificada.

And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land.

17 En cuanto a ti, hijo de hombre, ʼAdonay Yavé dice: Dí a las aves de rapiña de toda clase y a todas las fieras del campo: Júntense y vengan. Reúnanse de todas partes y vengan al sacrificio que preparo para ustedes, un gran sacrificio sobre las montañas de Israel para que coman carne y beban sangre.

And thou, O son of man, thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Say unto the birds, to every thing that hath wings, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves from every side to my sacrifice that I do slaughter for you, as a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.

18 Comerán carne de poderosos y beberán la sangre de los jefes de la tierra: carneros, corderos, machos cabríos, bueyes y toros, todos ellos engordados en Basán.

The flesh of the mighty shall ye eat, and the blood of the princes of the earth shall ye drink, —wethers, lambs, and he-goats, bullocks, fatlings of Bashan are they all of them.

19 Comerán sustancia hasta que se sacien, y beberán hasta embriagarse con sangre del sacrificio que ofrecí para ustedes.

And ye shall eat fat till ye be sated, and ye shall drink blood till ye be drunken, from my sacrifice which I have slaughtered for you.

20 Serán saciados en mi mesa con caballos y jinetes, con hombres poderosos y con todos sus guerreros, dice ʼAdonay Yavé.

And ye shall be sated at my table on horses and chariot-teams, on mighty men, and on all men of war, saith the Lord Eternal.

21 Pondré mi gloria entre las naciones. Todas estas verán mi juicio que ejecuté y mi mano que pongo sobre ellas.

And I will display my glory among the nations: and all the nations shall see my punishment that I execute, and my hand that I lay on them.

22 A partir de aquel día, la Casa de Israel sabrá que Yo soy Yavé su ʼElohim.

And the house of Israel shall acknowledge that I am the Lord their God from that day and forward.

23 Las naciones sabrán que la Casa de Israel fue llevada cautiva por su iniquidad, porque se rebelaron contra Mí. Yo oculté mi rostro de ellos y los entregué en manos de sus enemigos. Todos ellos cayeron a espada.

And the nations shall know that for their iniquity did the house of Israel go into exile; because they had trespassed against me, and I had hidden my face from them; and I gave them up therefore into the hand of their oppressors, and they all fell by the sword.

24 Los traté según su inmundicia y sus rebeliones y les oculté mi rostro.

According to their uncleanness, and according to their transgressions did I deal with them, and hid my face from them.

25 Por tanto ʼAdonay Yavé dice: Ahora traeré de vuelta a la cautividad de Jacob. Tendré misericordia de toda la Casa de Israel y seré celoso por mi santo Nombre.

Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Now will I bring back again the captivity of Jacob, and I will have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be zealous for my holy name;

26 Ellos sentirán vergüenza por toda su rebelión con la cual delinquieron contra Mí cuando vivan en su tierra con seguridad y no haya quien los aterrorice,

And they shall feel their disgrace, and all their trespass whereby they had trespassed against me, when they dwelt in their land in safety, with none to make them afraid:

27 cuando los saque de entre los pueblos, los reúna de la tierra de sus enemigos y sea santificado en ellos ante los ojos de muchas naciones.

When I bring them back again from the people, and gather them out of the land of their enemies, and sanctify myself on them before the eyes of the many nations.

28 Sabrán que Yo soy Yavé su ʼElohim cuando, después de llevarlos al cautiverio entre las naciones, los reúna en su tierra sin dejar allá a alguno de ellos.

And they shall know that I am the Lord their God; because I had exiled them among the nations, but gather them now unto their own land, and leave none of them any more there.

29 No volveré a ocultarles mi rostro, porque derramaré de mi Espíritu sobre la Casa de Israel, dice ʼAdonay Yavé.

And I will not hide my face any more from them; for I will have poured out my spirit over the house of Israel, saith the Lord Eternal.
