Ezequiel 32

1 El primer día del mes duodécimo del año duodécimo aconteció que la Palabra de Yavé vino a mí:

And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, on the first day of the month, that the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:

2 Hijo de hombre, levanta una lamentación sobre Faraón, rey de Egipto: Eres como un león de las naciones, como el cocodrilo de los mares. Porque secas tus ríos, enturbias las aguas con tus pies y pisoteas sus riberas.

Son of man, take up a lamentation over Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, and say to him: —Thou art like a young lion among the nations; Thou art like a dragon in the seas; And thou camest forth into thy rivers, And troubledst the waters with thy feet, And didst disturb their rivers.

3 ʼAdonay Yavé dice: Ciertamente tiendo mi red sobre ti en compañía de muchos pueblos. Te levantarán en mi red.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will therefore spread my net over thee, Amidst an assembly of many nations; And they shall draw thee up in my net.

4 Te dejaré sobre la tierra. Te echaré sobre la superficie del campo. Traeré a todas las aves de rapiña del cielo para que posen sobre ti y contigo saciaré las fieras de toda la tierra.

And I will throw thee upon the land, I will cast thee forth upon the open field, And I will cause all the birds of heaven to remain upon thee. And I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with thee;

5 Expondré tu carne sobre las montañas y llenaré los valles con tus restos.

And I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, And fill the valleys with thy heaps.

6 La tierra, hasta las montañas, beberá la descarga de tu sangre y los cauces de los arroyos se llenarán de ella.

And I will water the land in which thou swimmest with thy blood, even to the mountains, And the streams shall be full of thee.

7 Cuando te extinga, cubriré el cielo, oscureceré sus estrellas, cubriré el sol con una nube y la luna no resplandecerá.

And I will cover the heavens, when I quench thee, And make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, And the moon shall not give her light.

8 Todos los astros brillantes del firmamento se oscurecerán por causa de ti. Pondré oscuridad sobre tu tierra, dice ʼAdonay Yavé.

All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, And bring darkness upon thy land, Saith the Lord Jehovah.

9 También atribularé los corazones de muchos pueblos cuando lleve a tus despojados a las naciones, a tierras que no conociste.

And I will grieve the hearts of many nations, When I bring thy destruction among the nations, In lands which thou knowest not.

10 Muchos pueblos se aterrorizarán por ti. Sus reyes estarán terriblemente horrorizados, cuando Yo salga a blandir mi espada ante ellos. Todo hombre temblará en todo momento por su propia vida el día de tu caída.

Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, And their kings shall shudder on account of thee, When I brandish my sword before them; And they shall tremble every moment, every one for his life, in the day of thy fall.

11 Porque ʼAdonay Yavé dice: La espada del rey de Babilonia vendrá sobre ti.

For thus saith the Lord Jehovah: The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee;

12 Tu pueblo caerá por las espadas de hombres poderosos. Todos ellos serán los poderosos de las naciones. Destruirán el orgullo de Egipto, y toda su multitud será deshecha.

By the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall, All of them the terrible of the nations. And they shall bring to nothing the pride of Egypt, And all her multitude shall be destroyed.

13 Destruiré también todas sus bestias de sobre las muchas aguas. Un pie de hombre no las volverá a agitar, ni una pezuña de bestia las enturbiará.

I will also destroy all her beasts From beside the great waters; Neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, Nor shall the hoofs of beasts trouble them.

14 Entonces asentaré sus aguas, y sus ríos correrán como aceite, dice ʼAdonay Yavé.

Then will I make their waters clear, And cause their rivers to run like oil, Saith the Lord Jehovah,

15 Cuando convierta la tierra de Egipto en una desolación y quede despojada de todo lo que hay en ella, cuando mate a todos los que en ella habitan, sabrán que Yo soy Yavé.

When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate, And the country shall be destitute of all that was therein, When I shall smite all that dwell therein, That they may know that I am Jehovah.

16 La lamentarán con esta lamentación. Las hijas de las naciones lamentarán a Egipto y toda su multitud se lamentará, dice ʼAdonay Yavé.

This is the lamentation which they shall utter; the daughters of the nations shall utter it. For Egypt and for all her multitude shall they utter it, saith the Lord Jehovah.

17 A los 15 días del mes del año 12, aconteció que la Palabra de Yavé vino a mí:

It came to pass also in the twelfth year, [[in the twelfth month, ]] on the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:

18 Hijo de hombre, lamenta por la multitud de Egipto. Échalo abajo junto con las hijas de las naciones poderosas a lo profundo de la tierra, con los que bajan a la fosa.

Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast her down, even her and the daughters of the famous nations, to the lower parts of the earth, to them that have gone down to the pit.

19 ¿A quién sobrepasas en hermosura? Baja, sé puesto con los incircuncisos.

Art thou more beautiful than another? Come down and be laid with the uncircumcised!

20 Caerán en medio de los asesinados por la espada. Él es entregado a la espada. Sáquenlo afuera, a él y a todas sus multitudes.

They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword. The sword is given; drag her away and all her multitudes!

21 Los más fuertes de los poderosos de en medio del Seol, con sus ayudadores, hablarán de él: Ya cayeron y están tendidos con los incircuncisos asesinados a espada. (Sheol h7585)

The mightiest heroes from the midst of the pit shall speak to him and his helpers; For they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword. (Sheol h7585)

22 Ahí está Asiria con toda su multitud, todos ellos asesinados a filo de espada. Alrededor de ella están sus sepulcros

There is Assyria and all her company; Her graves are round about her; All of them are slain, fallen by the sword;

23 puestos en lo más profundo de la fosa. Su multitud está alrededor de su sepulcro. Todos ellos fueron asesinados a filo de espada, quienes esparcieron el terror en la tierra de los vivientes.

Her grave is made in the depths of the pit, And her company is round about her grave, All of them slain, fallen by the sword, They who caused terror in the land of the living.

24 Ahí está Elam con toda su multitud alrededor de su sepulcro, todos ellos asesinados a filo de espada, quienes bajaron incircuncisos a las partes más bajas de la tierra. Ellos impusieron su terror en la tierra de los vivientes y llevaron su desgracia con los que bajan al sepulcro.

There is Elam and all her company round about her grave, All of them slain, fallen by the sword; They are gone down uncircumcised to the lower parts of the earth, Who caused terror in the land of the living; They bear their shame with them that have gone down to the pit.

25 Les tendieron un lecho en medio de los asesinados con toda su multitud. Todos sus sepulcros están alrededor de incircuncisos, asesinados a espada. Ellos causaron terror en la tierra de los vivientes. Ahora llevan su desgracia con los que bajan a la fosa. Fueron puestos en medio de los asesinados.

Among the slain have they set her a bed with all her multitude; Her graves are round about her, All of them slain, uncircumcised, by the sword. Though they caused terror in the land of the living, Yet they bear their shame with them that have gone down to the pit; They are laid in the midst of the slain.

26 Ahí están Mesec y Tubal y toda su multitud. Todos los incircuncisos que fueron asesinados a espada rodean los sepulcros de ellos, porque inculcaron su terror en la tierra de los vivientes.

There is Meshech, Tubal, and all their multitude; Their graves are around them; All of them slain, uncircumcised, by the sword, Though they caused terror in the land of the living.

27 No están ellos tendidos junto a los héroes caídos de los incircuncisos que bajaron al Seol con sus armas de guerra, las espadas de quienes están puestas debajo de sus cabezas, pero sus pecados quedaron puestos sobre sus huesos, porque impusieron el terror de los poderosos en la tierra de los vivientes. (Sheol h7585)

Shall they not lie with the mighty of the uncircumcised that are fallen, Who have gone down to the pit with their weapons of war, Having their swords laid under their heads, And their iniquity resting upon their bones, Though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living? (Sheol h7585)

28 Pero tú serás quebrantado entre los incircuncisos. Quedarás tendido con los asesinados a filo de espada.

And thou also shalt be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, And shalt lie down with them that are slain by the sword.

29 Allí está también Edom, sus reyes y todos sus príncipes, quienes a pesar de todo su poder, están tendidos con los asesinados a espada. Estarán tendidos con los incircuncisos y con los que bajan a la fosa.

There is Edom, her kings and all her princes, Who in their might are laid with them that are slain by the sword; They lie down with the uncircumcised, With them that have gone down to the pit.

30 Allí están todos los jefes del norte, quienes a pesar de su terror, que dio como resultado su poderío, bajaron avergonzados con los asesinados. Están tendidos con los incircuncisos, en compañía de los asesinados a espada. Cargan su desgracia con los que bajan a la fosa.

There are the princes of the North, All of them, and all the Sidonians, Who have gone down to the slain; In the midst of the terror of their might they are put to shame; They lie down uncircumcised with them that are slain by the sword, And bear their shame with them that have gone down to the pit.

31 Faraón los verá y se consolará por todas sus multitudes asesinadas a espada, Faraón y todo su ejército, dice ʼAdonay Yavé.

Pharaoh shall see them, And shall comfort himself over all his multitude; Even Pharaoh and all his army are slain by the sword, Saith the Lord Jehovah.

32 Porque impuso su terror en la tierra de los vivientes, también Faraón y toda su multitud estarán tendidos entre los incircuncisos con los asesinados a espada, dice ʼAdonay Yavé.

Though I suffered him to spread terror in the land of the living, Yet is he laid in the midst of the uncircumcised, With them that are slain by the sword, Even Pharaoh and all his multitude, Saith the Lord Jehovah.
