Éxodo 40
1 Entonces Yavé habló a Moisés:
And the Lord spoke unto Moses, saying,
2 El primer día del mes primero ordenarás levantar el Tabernáculo de Reunión.
On the first day of the first month shalt thou set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
3 Pondrás allí el Arca del Testimonio y la ocultarás con el velo.
And thou shalt put therein the ark of the testimony, and separate the ark with the vail.
4 Introducirás la mesa, arreglarás sus utensilios, pondrás el candelabro y mandarás encender sus lámparas.
And thou shalt bring in the table, and arrange the order of the showbread upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.
5 Luego pondrás el altar de oro para el incienso frente al Arca del Testimonio, y pondrás la cortina en la entrada del Tabernáculo.
And thou shalt set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony; and thou shalt put up the hanging at the door to the tabernacle.
6 Pondrás el altar del holocausto después de la entrada al Tabernáculo de Reunión.
And thou shalt set the altar of burnt-offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
7 Pondrás la fuente entre la entrada al Tabernáculo de Reunión y el altar, y echarás agua en ella.
And thou shalt set the laver between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and thou shalt put water therein.
8 Arreglarás el patio alrededor, y colgarás la cortina de la entrada al patio.
And thou shalt set up the court round about, and put up the hanging at the gate of the court.
9 Tomarás el aceite de la unción y ungirás el Tabernáculo y todo lo que hay en él. Así lo consagrarás junto con todos sus utensilios, y será sagrado.
And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein; and thou shalt hallow it, with all its vessels, and it shall be holy.
10 Ungirás también el altar del holocausto y todos sus utensilios, y santificarás el altar. El altar será santísimo.
And thou shalt anoint the altar of burnt-offering, and all its vessels; and thou shalt sanctify the altar, and the altar shall be most holy.
11 También ungirás la fuente y su basa y la consagrarás.
And thou shalt anoint the laver with its foot, and sanctify it.
12 En seguida ordenarás que Aarón y sus hijos se acerquen a la entrada del Tabernáculo de Reunión, y los lavarás con agua.
And thou shalt bring near Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.
13 Vestirás a Aarón las ropas sagradas, lo ungirás y lo consagrarás para que sea mi sacerdote.
And thou shalt clothe Aaron with the holy garments; and thou shalt anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may be a priest unto me.
14 Ordenarás que se acerquen sus hijos, les pondrás las túnicas
And his sons shalt thou bring near, and clothe them with coats:
15 y los ungirás como ungiste a su padre. Serán mis sacerdotes. Su unción les servirá como sacerdocio perpetuo para sus generaciones.
And thou shalt anoint them, as thou hast anointed their father, that they may be priests unto me; and this shall be, that their anointing shall be unto them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
16 Moisés hizo conforme a todo lo que Yavé le ordenó. Así lo hizo.
And Moses did so; all, just as the Lord had commanded him, so did he.
17 Aconteció que el Tabernáculo fue levantado el primer día del primer mes del segundo año.
And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.
18 Moisés ordenó levantar el Tabernáculo. Asentó sus basas, puso sus tablones, metió sus travesaños y ordenó levantar sus columnas.
And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and placed its sockets, and set up its boards, and put in its bars, and reared up its pillars.
19 Extendió la tienda sobre el Tabernáculo, y puso el cobertor de la tienda encima de él, como Yavé ordenó a Moisés.
And he spread the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent over it above; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
20 Después tomó el Testimonio y lo puso dentro del Arca, colocó las varas en el Arca y puso el Propiciatorio encima del Arca.
And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and placed the staves on the ark; and he put the mercy-seat upon the ark above.
21 Introdujo el Arca en el Tabernáculo, y puso el velo de separación. De este modo ocultó el Arca del Testimonio, como Yavé ordenó a Moisés.
And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the separation, and made therewith a separation for the ark of the testimony; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
22 Luego puso la mesa en el Tabernáculo de Reunión, al lado norte del Tabernáculo, fuera del velo,
And he put the table in the tabernacle of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle, northward, without the vail.
23 y puso en orden sobre ella los panes delante de Yavé, como Yavé ordenó a Moisés.
And he arranged upon it the order of bread before the Lord; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
24 Luego puso el candelabro en el Tabernáculo de Reunión enfrente de la mesa, al lado sur del Tabernáculo,
And he placed the candlestick in the tabernacle of the congregation, opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle, southward.
25 y ordenó encender las lámparas delante de Yavé, como Yavé ordenó a Moisés.
And he lighted the lamps before the Lord; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
26 Luego puso el altar de oro dentro del Tabernáculo de Reunión delante del velo,
And he placed the golden altar in the tabernacle of the congregation before the vail.
27 y quemó incienso aromático sobre él, como Yavé ordenó a Moisés.
And he burnt thereon the incense of spices; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
28 Puso también la cortina en la entrada al Tabernáculo,
And he put up the hanging at the door to the tabernacle.
29 puso el altar del holocausto en la entrada del Tabernáculo de Reunión y ofreció holocausto y ofrenda vegetal sobre él, como Yavé ordenó a Moisés.
And the altar of burnt-offering he placed by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation; and he offered upon it the burnt-offering and the meat-offering; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
30 Después colocó la fuente entre la entrada al Tabernáculo de Reunión y el altar, y puso allí agua para lavarse.
And he set the laver between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, for washing.
31 Moisés y Aarón y sus hijos se lavaban sus manos y sus pies en ella.
And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed therefrom their hands and their feet.
32 Siempre se lavaban cuando entraban en el Tabernáculo de Reunión y al acercarse al altar, como Yavé ordenó a Moisés.
When they went in unto the tabernacle of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed themselves; as the Lord had commanded Moses.
33 Finalmente, hizo levantar el patio alrededor del Tabernáculo y del altar y puso la cortina en la entrada del patio. Así acabó Moisés la obra.
And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and put up the hanging of the gate of the court; and so did Moses finish the work.
34 Entonces la nube cubrió el Tabernáculo de Reunión y la gloria de Yavé llenó el Tabernáculo.
And the cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
35 Moisés no podía entrar en el Tabernáculo de Reunión, porque la nube estaba sobre él y la gloria de Yavé llenó el Tabernáculo.
And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation; because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
36 Cuando la nube se levantaba de sobre el Tabernáculo, los hijos de Israel salían en todas sus jornadas,
And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel were wont to go onward in all their journeyings.
37 pero si la nube no se levantaba, no salían hasta el día cuando se levantaba,
But if the cloud was not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that is was taken up.
38 porque la nube de Yavé permanecía de día sobre el Tabernáculo, y de noche había fuego en él, a la vista de toda la casa de Israel.
For the cloud of the Lord was upon the tabernacle by day, and a fire was by night on it, before the eyes of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeyings.
