Efesios 6
1 Los hijos obedezcan a sus progenitores, porque esto es justo.
The children: obey your parents in the LORD, for this is right;
2 Honra a tu padre y a [tu] madre, que es [el ]primer Mandamiento con promesa,
honor your father and mother,
3 para que te vaya bien, y vivas largo tiempo sobre la tierra.
which is the first command with a promise, “That it may be well with you, and you may live a long time on the land.”
4 Los padres no provoquen a ira a sus hijos, sino críenlos con disciplina y amonestación del Señor.
And the fathers: do not provoke your children, but nourish them in the instruction and admonition of the LORD.
5 Los esclavos obedezcan a los señores humanos con temor y temblor, con sinceridad de su corazón, como a Cristo.
The servants: obey the masters according to the flesh with fear and trembling, in the simplicity of your heart, as to the Christ;
6 No [hagan] un servicio al ojo, como los que tratan de complacer a la gente, sino como esclavos de Cristo. Hagan la voluntad de Dios con ánimo.
not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but as servants of the Christ, doing the will of God out of [your] soul,
7 Sirvan de buena voluntad, como al Señor y no a [los ]hombres,
serving with goodwill, as to the LORD, and not to men,
8 pues [ustedes] saben que lo bueno que cada uno haga, esto recibirá de parte del Señor, sea esclavo o libre.
having known that whatever good thing each one may do, this he will receive from the LORD, whether servant or freeman.
9 Los amos hagan las mismas cosas con ellos y abandonen la amenaza, pues saben que el Señor, tanto de ellos como de ustedes, está en [el] cielo. Para Él no hay parcialidad.
And the masters! Do the same things to them, letting threatening alone, having also known that your Master is in the heavens, and favor by appearance is not with Him.
10 Finalmente, mis hermanos, sean fuertes en [el] Señor y su fuerza poderosa.
As to the rest, my brothers, be strong in the LORD, and in the power of His might;
11 Vístanse con toda la armadura de Dios para que estén firmes contra las estrategias del diablo.
put on the whole armor of God, so you are able to stand against the schemes of the Devil,
12 Porque no tenemos lucha contra carne y sangre, sino contra los principados, las circunscripciones, los gobernadores de este mundo de la oscuridad y contra las huestes espirituales en los [planes] celestiales. (aiōn g165)
because our wrestling is not with flesh and blood, but with the principalities, with the authorities, with the world-rulers of the darkness of this age, with the spiritual [forces] of evil in the heavenly [places]; (aiōn g165)
13 Tomen la armadura completa de Dios, para que puedan resistir en el día malo y, después de conquistar todo, estar firmes.
because of this take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to resist in the day of the evil, and having done all things—to stand.
14 Por tanto estén firmes. Átense la cintura con [la] verdad. Pónganse la coraza de justicia.
Stand, therefore, having your loins girded around in truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
15 Cálcense los pies con el equipo de las Buenas Noticias de la paz.
and having the feet shod in the preparation of the good news of peace;
16 Sobre todo, tomen el escudo de la fe, con el cual podrán extinguir todas las flechas encendidas del maligno.
in all, having taken up the shield of faith, in which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one,
17 Tomen el yelmo de la salvación y la espada del Espíritu, que es [la] Palabra de Dios.
and receive the helmet of the salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,
18 Hablen con Dios en todo tiempo por medio de toda conversación y súplica en espíritu. Por lo mismo, estén alerta con toda perseverancia y suplicación por todos los santos,
through all prayer and supplication praying at all times in the Spirit, and in this, watching in all perseverance and supplication for all the holy ones—
19 y por mí, para que se me dé palabra al abrir mi boca, a fin de proclamar con osadía el misterio de las Buenas Noticias,
and in behalf of me, that to me may be given a word in the opening of my mouth, in freedom, to make known the secret of the good news,
20 del cual soy embajador con cadena, para que hable de él con osadía, como debo hablar.
for which I am an ambassador in a chain, that in it I may speak freely—as it is necessary for me to speak.
21 Para que ustedes también sepan mi situación y lo que hago, todo les informará Tíquico, el hermano amado, y fiel ministro en [el] Señor,
And that you may know—you also—the things concerning me—what I do, Tychicus will make all things known to you, the beloved brother and faithful servant in the LORD,
22 a quien les envié para que sepan las cosas con respecto a nosotros y consuele sus corazones.
whom I sent to you for this very thing, that you might know the things concerning us, and that he might comfort your hearts.
23 Paz a los hermanos y amor con fe en Dios Padre y en el Señor Jesucristo.
Peace to the brothers, and love, with faith, from God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ!
24 La gracia sea con todos los que aman a nuestro Señor Jesucristo con perpetuidad.
The grace with all those loving our Lord Jesus Christ—undecayingly! Amen.
