1 Hizo el altar de bronce de nueve metros de longitud y de anchura, y 4,5 metros de altura.
Then he made an altar of bronze, thirty-four feet and five inches, its length, and thirty-four feet and five inches, its breadth, and seventeen feet and three inches its height.
2 Hizo también el mar circular de fundición de 4,5 metros de borde a borde, 2,25 metros de alto y 13,5 metros de circunferencia.
Also he made the molten sea seventeen feet and three inches from brim to brim, round in compass; and its height was eight feet and seven inches; and a line of fifty-one feet and eight inches encircled it.
3 Debajo del mar había figuras de calabazas, diez por cada 45 centímetros alrededor. Eran dos hileras de calabazas fundidas juntamente con el mar.
Under it was the likeness of oxen, which encircled it, for seventeen feet and three inches, encircling the sea. The oxen were in two rows, cast when it was cast.
4 Estaba asentado sobre 12 bueyes: tres miraban al norte, tres al occidente, tres al sur, y tres al oriente. El mar estaba asentado sobre ellos, y todas sus ancas estaban hacia adentro.
It stood on twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking toward the east: and the sea was set on them above, and all their backs were toward the center.
5 El mar tenía 7,5 centímetros de espesor. Su borde tenía la forma como el borde de una copa, como una flor de lirio. Su capacidad era de 66.000 litros.
It was almost three inches thick; and its brim was worked like the brim of a cup, like the flower of a lily: it received and held three thousand baths.
6 También hizo diez piletas, cinco al sur y cinco al norte, para lavar y limpiar en ellas lo que se ofrecía en holocausto. Pero el mar era para que los sacerdotes se lavaran en él.
He made also ten basins, and put five on the right hand, and five on the left, to wash in them; such things as belonged to the burnt offering they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.
7 Hizo los diez candelabros de oro, según lo prescrito con respecto a ellos. Los puso en el Santuario, cinco a la derecha y cinco a la izquierda.
He made the ten lampstands of gold according to the ordinance concerning them; and he set them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.
8 Hizo diez mesas y las puso en el Templo, cinco a la derecha y cinco a la izquierda. También hizo 100 tazones de oro.
He made also ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the right side, and five on the left. He made one hundred basins of gold.
9 Además hizo el patio de los sacerdotes y el gran patio con sus puertas. Recubrió las puertas de ambos de bronce.
Furthermore he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and doors for the court, and overlaid their doors with bronze.
10 Puso el mar en la esquina sureste de la Casa.
He set the sea on the right side of the house eastward, toward the south.
11 También hizo los calderos, las palas y los tazones. Hiram terminó de realizar la obra que hizo para el rey Salomón en la Casa de ʼElohim:
And Hiram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basins. So Hiram made an end of doing the work that he did for king Solomon in God's house:
12 las dos columnas, y de la parte superior de las columnas, los collares para los dos capiteles y las dos redes que cubrían los dos capiteles,
the two pillars, and the bowls, and the two capitals which were on the top of the pillars, and the two networks to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the top of the pillars,
13 y las 400 granadas para las dos redes: dos hileras de granadas por cada red para cubrir las dos esferas de los capiteles que estaban en la parte superior de las columnas.
and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks; two rows of pomegranates for each network, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the pillars.
14 Hizo también las basas y puso las piletas sobre ellas,
He made also the bases, and the basins made he on the bases;
15 el mar con los 12 bueyes debajo de él,
one sea, and the twelve oxen under it.
16 los calderos, las palas y los tenedores. Todos estos utensilios destinados a la Casa de Yavé que Hiram-abí hizo para el rey Salomón eran de bronce abrillantado.
The pots, the shovels, the forks, and all its vessels Hiram Abi made for king Solomon for the house of Jehovah of bright bronze.
17 El rey los fundió en tierra arcillosa en la llanura del Jordán, entre Sucot y Seredata.
The king cast them in the plain of the Jordan, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarethan.
18 Salomón hizo tan gran cantidad de estos utensilios que nunca pudo ser averiguado el peso del bronce.
Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight of the bronze could not be found out.
19 El rey hizo todos los utensilios para la Casa de ʼElohim, el altar de oro, las mesas sobre las cuales se ponían los Panes de la Presencia,
Solomon made all the vessels that were in God's house, the golden altar also, and the tables with the show bread on them;
20 y los candelabros con sus lámparas de oro puro para que las encendieran delante del Lugar Santísimo de la manera prescrita.
and the lampstands with their lamps, to burn according to the ordinance before the inner sanctuary, of pure gold;
21 Las flores, las lámparas y las tenazas se hicieron de oro purísimo.
and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold, and that perfect gold;
22 Las despabiladeras, los tazones para lavar, las cucharas y los incensarios eran de oro puro. La entrada de la Casa, las puertas interiores de acceso al Lugar Santísimo y las puertas de entrada al salón principal del Templo [también] eran de oro.
and the snuffers, and the basins, and the spoons, and the fire pans, of pure gold: and as for the entry of the house, the inner doors of it for the most holy place, and the doors of the main hall of the temple were of gold.
