2 Crónicas 31
1 Cuando hicieron todas estas cosas, todos los de Israel que estaban presentes salieron por las ciudades de Judá y quebraron las piedras sagradas. Talaron las Aseras y destruyeron los lugares altos y los altares hasta acabarlos en todo Judá y Benjamín, Efraín y Manasés. Después todos los hijos de Israel regresaron a sus ciudades, cada uno a su posesión.
And at the completion of all this, all [those of] Israel who are found present have gone out to the cities of Judah, and break the standing-pillars, and cut down the Asherim, and break down the high places and the altars, out of all Judah and Benjamin, and in Ephraim and Manasseh, even to completion, and all the sons of Israel return, each to his possession, to their cities.
2 Ezequías instituyó la función de los sacerdotes y levitas según sus divisiones, cada una según el servicio de cada grupo, para los holocaustos y las ofrendas de paz a fin de que ministraran, dieran gracias y alabaran en las puertas del campamento de Yavé.
And Hezekiah appoints the divisions of the priests and of the Levites, by their divisions, each according to his service, of the priests and of the Levites, for burnt-offering and for peace-offerings, to minister and to give thanks, and to give praise in the gates of the camps of YHWH.
3 También señaló la contribución del rey de su propia hacienda para los holocaustos de la mañana y cuando llega la noche, los sábados, las lunas nuevas y los tiempos señalados, según lo escrito en la Ley de Yavé.
And a portion of the king, from his substance, [is] for burnt-offerings, for burnt-offerings of the morning and of the evening, and the burnt-offerings of Sabbaths, and of new moons, and of appointed times, as it is written in the Law of YHWH.
4 Mandó también a la gente de Jerusalén que diera la porción correspondiente a los sacerdotes y levitas a fin de que se dedicaran a la Ley de Yavé.
And he commands to the people, to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to give the portion of the priests and of the Levites, so that they are strengthened in the Law of YHWH;
5 Cuando se divulgó la orden, los hijos de Israel dieron muchas primicias de grano, mosto, aceite y miel, y de todo fruto del campo. Llevaron el diezmo de todo en abundancia.
and at the spreading forth of the thing, the sons of Israel have multiplied the first-fruit of grain, new wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field, and they have brought in the tithe of the whole in abundance.
6 Los hijos de Israel y de Judá que vivían en las ciudades de Judá llevaron los diezmos de becerros y ovejas. También [llevaron] el diezmo de las cosas santas consagradas a Yavé su ʼElohim y lo apilaron en montones.
And the sons of Israel and Judah, those dwelling in cities of Judah, have also brought in a tithe of herd and flock, and a tithe of the holy things that are sanctified to their God YHWH, and they set [them in] heaps of heaps.
7 El mes tercero comenzaron a hacer aquellos montones y los terminaron el mes séptimo.
In the third month they have begun to lay the foundation of the heaps, and in the seventh month they have finished.
8 Cuando Ezequías y los jefes fueron a ver los montones bendijeron a Yavé y a su pueblo Israel.
And Hezekiah and the heads come in and see the heaps, and bless YHWH and His people Israel,
9 Entonces Ezequías preguntó a los sacerdotes y a los levitas acerca de los montones.
and Hezekiah inquires at the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps,
10 El sumo sacerdote Azarías, de la casa de Sadoc, le respondió: Desde cuando comenzaron a traer las ofrendas a la Casa de Yavé, comimos, nos saciamos y sobró mucho, porque Yavé bendijo a su pueblo. Sobró esta gran cantidad.
and Azariah the head priest, of the house of Zadok, speaks to him and says, “From the beginning of the bringing of the raised-offering to the house of YHWH, [there is enough] to eat, and to be satisfied, and to leave abundantly, for YHWH has blessed His people, and that left [is] this store.”
11 Ezequías mandó que prepararan cámaras en la Casa de Yavé, y fueron preparadas.
And Hezekiah commands to prepare chambers in the house of YHWH, and they prepare,
12 Llevaban fielmente las ofrendas, los diezmos y las cosas consagradas. Encargaron al levita Conanías como jefe de esto, y como segundo, a su hermano Simei.
and they bring in the raised-offering, and the tithe, and the holy things faithfully; and over them is a leader, Conaniah the Levite, and his brother Shimei [is] second;
13 Jeiel, Azazías, Nahat, Asael, Jerimot, Jozabad, Eliel, Ismaquías, Mahat, y Benaía eran supervisores bajo la dirección de Conanías y su hermano Simei, por orden del rey Ezequías y Azarías, jefe de la Casa de ʼElohim.
and Jehiel, and Azaziah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Jerimoth, and Jozabad, and Eliel, and Ismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah, [are] inspectors under the hand of Conaniah and his brother Shimei, by the appointment of Hezekiah the king, and Azariah leader of the house of God.
14 El levita Coré, hijo de Imna, portero de la puerta oriental, tenía a su cargo las ofrendas voluntarias para ʼElohim, y la distribución de las ofrendas dedicadas a Yavé y las cosas santísimas.
And Kore son of Imnah the Levite, the gatekeeper at the east, [is] over the willing-offerings of God, to give the raised-offering of YHWH, and the most holy things.
15 Edén, Miniamín, Jesúa, Semaías, Amarías y Secanías estaban a su servicio en las ciudades de los sacerdotes para repartir fielmente a sus hermanos, según lo que les correspondía, tanto al grande como al pequeño.
And by his hand [are] Eden, and Miniamin, and Jeshua, and Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shechaniah, in cities of the priests, faithfully to give to their brothers in divisions, as the great so the small,
16 Además estaban los varones anotados por su genealogía masculina, de tres años arriba, y de todo el que entraba a la Casa de Yavé a realizar su tarea diaria en su ministerio según sus oficios y clases.
apart from their genealogy, to males from a son of three years and upward, to everyone who has gone into the house of YHWH, by the matter of a day in its day, for their service in their charges, according to their divisions;
17 También estaban los que eran contados entre los sacerdotes según sus casas paternas, y a los levitas de 20 años arriba según su oficio y por sus clases.
and the genealogy of the priests by the house of their fathers, and of the Levites, from a son of twenty years and upward, in their charges, in their divisions;
18 Ellos fueron contados con todos sus pequeños, sus esposas, sus hijos y sus hijas, toda la multitud, porque se consagraban fielmente en santidad.
and to the genealogy among all their infants, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters to all the congregation, for in their faithfulness they sanctify themselves in holiness.
19 También para los sacerdotes hijos de Aarón, los cuales vivían en los campos alrededor de sus ciudades, los varones designados tenían el encargo de darles sus porciones a todos los hombres de los sacerdotes, y a todos los que eran de las familias de los levitas.
And for sons of Aaron, the priests, in the fields of the outskirt of their cities, in each and every city, [are] men who have been defined by name, to give portions to every male among the priests, and to everyone who reckoned himself by genealogy among the Levites.
20 Ezequías hizo de esta manera en todo Judá y obró lo bueno, recto y verdadero ante Yavé su ʼElohim.
And Hezekiah does thus in all Judah, and does that which is good, and that which is right, and that which is true, before his God YHWH;
21 Buscó a su ʼElohim con todo su corazón en lo que emprendió en el servicio de la Casa de ʼElohim, según la Ley y los Mandamientos. Fue prosperado.
and in every work that he has begun for the service of the house of God, and for the Law, and for the command, to seek for his God with all his heart, he has worked and prospered.
